I had a total failure on my Dexter 10k axle bearing. I was able to get it chained up and rolled it to Crossroads Truck and Trailer Repair in Jamestown Monday morning. Shop manager Jacob got me in first thing and made repairs to the axle spindle and i was able to make my delivery to Minot ND today. Allen was the primary mechanic who worked on the repair.

Great service. Even though they were busy they managed to fit me in to fix my wheel bearing on my trailer. The mechanic was great and the service manager was very understanding. I'll be stopping here again anytime I need parts.

Good place to get screwed. Bring a jar of Vaseline with... You'll need it when it comes time to settle up your bill. Was quoted $1200, went to pay and it was $4,000. Not one call to tell me anything at all about the price increases. These guys would make good milkmen... they milk for every last drop. * Yes, I can. It's good to see you actually care enough to respond. It was a year or so ago.. maybe 2. I'll get my wife to dig out the exact dates. I had a goose neck trailer that had to have an axle replaced... 9k -10k general purpose Dexter. They got the axle for $700 or $800 dollars from some town down south of y'all. They told me that it would only be $400 or $500 in labor (straight forward, simple and easy job as they explained it). I left them my number and went and purchased a motel room. They NEVER called me and told me ANYTHING until they called and said it was ready to pick up. I went to pick it up and that's when they dropped the hammer on me... $3800 or $3900.. I don't remember exactly but it was at the least $3,800. I could have bought an entire, good used trailer for that. I was pissed but what could I do. I chalked it up to bad luck and them being crooks knowing that they had me by the balls because they knew I was from out of town.. so I payed it. I drove by again today and got pissed simply by just seeing the place... So I wrote the review. Thanks for caring enough to ask. Still doesn't take the bad taste out of my mouth when it comes to what happened to me though.
