Had a great experience renting a car through the Grand Forks Airport location. Ben helped us at the counter. He was great. We will definitely use this rental location again. There was a problem with the return location. We had booked through the national phone number(not this location). When I tried to correct the situation, the national number said there was no way to make the corrections. I called this local number and the gentleman who answered was very good and corrected the situation with no issues.

Used this facility last week. The two gentleman at the counter were very nice. I had a question about why they did things a certain way, they both answered and gave me reassurance.

The worst customer service for a rental car company. Made a reservation 2 months ahead and was denied a car because we were delayed 2 hours.Showed up to the counter and was told “your past the time on your reservation so we gave your reserved car away. If you step to the side we maybe able to help you after those behind you check in. Sorry. The other companies down there might have cars”.

I am a big fan of National Car Rental and my membership in their Emerald Club attests to this. However this less than stellar review is specifically for their Grand Forks, ND airport location. I did reserve a full size car due to my 6'2" frame, more than a week prior to my trip. Instead, the only option I was offered was a free "upgrade" with a small SUV. Very hard to get in and out of this vehicle. Additionally the team at the GFK airport did not bother providing an ice scraper with the vehicle, in December in North Dakota. I had to wait every morning until the puny engine warmed up enough to defrost the windshield. The second star is for the gas mileage on this vehicle. I topped up the tank for just $5 and change for a week of driving.

I received excellent service when I picked up my 2020 Ford expedition with National Car Rental. The pick up process was quick and easy, the car was clean and ready to go. The agent who assisted me renting the vehicle at the Grand Forks international Airport national car rental counter was Tony, he was very Polite and professional. He made sure to cover all the details and made the process quick and efficient. The vehicle was the perfect size for my family and we had a wonderful experience. Returning the car was just as quick and easy. I highly recommend going with National Car Rental. A+

The car was ready when I arrived and located in its designated spot. The counter staff were friendly and very courteous. All my paperwork was in order and I was in and out in a timely manner. Really couldn't have asked for more.
