“Hotel was very good, in town for hockey. Quite cold and room was very warm. Service was pleasant. Hotel was a little away from where we needed to go but it was not a problem. Will be back at the same place in a few more weeks.Rooms: Room with two queen beds, spacious enough for three people and a lot of hockey gear. It was very comfortable.”

“Our Bantam AA hockey team stayed here for a tournament. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the hotel layout was perfect for our team, the breakfast was hot, well stocked, tasty and quickly replenished. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious enough to accommodate two adults and two adult-sized teenagers. Would definitely book here again!”

“Location is well suited within miles from UND campus. Location is in close proximity to restaurants. Ample free parking available. Breakfast is not free and it’s expensive compared to food served. Room is decent except bath tub needs upgrade. Fitness center and Pool are available. There is an onsite restaurant however their food and timing are limited.Staff is friendly.Overall good place to stay.”

“Rooms were nice, however there were a few things that keep it from being 5 stars: Mattresses are comfy but a little squeaky, shower is good but tub is slick, rooms are spacious but are in need of some tlc (paint scraped off places, floor peeling, remote not working 100%). It just seems like the rooms have been a little neglected recently. Breakfast was GREAT.”

“I booked this hotel as it was near the Amtrak station. The train arrives early in the morning (2 am) and I was only going to need the room until 9 am. I thought it would be an ok place for that short period of time.I also thought it was a good idea as it would save some money, seeing I only needed the room to get a little rest before the next day. It ended up being far worse than I could have imagined. Do not stay here, it is not worth the money you save. Even for a short period of time I was completely uncomfortable and felt very unsafe. I got absolutely no rest. There were people in the hallways partying and yelling. There was a dog, or multiple dogs, that barked all night. The front desk manager came down to ask the guests to quiet down. He did so unsuccessfully, he had no control over the situation. The place smells, almost everywhere. Nothing in the room was clean, except maybe the bathroom. I went into it knowing it wasn’t going to be a great place but this was far worse than I could have imagined. I’ve stayed in hotels near truck stops before but this one was by far the worst. I lived in grand forks for several years, driving by the hotel many times. From the outside, the place looks harmless. The inside is nothing near the pictures shared, I’m shocked Priceline listed it. The pictures are inaccurate. Do not be fooled. I would not recommend for women or children. I would not recommend to anyone honestly, if you like to feel safe and secure at your hotel. If you can avoid a stay here, I absolutely would.Safety: Very old building, people yelling and partying in halls until the early morning. Front desk attendant did not say much or make eye contact. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything, general sense of discomfort in the entire building. Not a place to stay if you want a restful sleep. Staff could not manage or control unruly guests, the most unsafe hotel I have ever experienced. The rooms were filthy, adding to the discomfort. This place is not safe for women or children.”

“I had a very good experience here. We stayed for 4 days and didn't have any problems. Our poolside room was clean and very modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and very enjoyable. The location next to the highway makes it easy to navigate to other areas of the city. I will stay here again next time I'm in town.”
