Great store, I have bought boots, hats, shirts, and leather care items. Their Cody James brand seems pretty nice.I prefer their colognes over other stores. I have found that the fargo location is typically $15-$30 cheaper for boot and hats.

I'm from Texas. I'm accustomed to knowledgeable employees at a Boot Barn store. This Boot Barn has employees, however they can't seem to tell the difference between a Stetson and a Cody James. The Boot salesman was impressive as well...since they only had a very limited selection of women's 9.5 boots, I should just buy a 10. If you are needing qualified salespeople, skip this particular Boot Barn.

I bought 3 pairs of Wrangler Jeans back in April and ALL 3 Pairs separated at the back right pocket and I told the Manager about it.. All he said was“No, we’ve never had any problems with any of our jeans.” He didn’t care! What a waste of $200.00 ☹️

Yesterday my son and I went to the Grand Forks location to look for something for my husband for Father's Day. We did end up purchasing three shirts but no one greeted us when we walked in or checked to see if we needed help while we were browsing. Jennifer did help us to checkout but provided no other assistance.Low and behold the shirts didn't fit so back to Boot Barn we went today. When we walked in again no one greeted us. I walked up to the counter and two employees were talking to each other instead of acknowledging me. The first thing that was said to me was "have a return?" again with no eye contact. My son and husband were browsing the shirts to find a different size. I met up with them and continued to look at shirts, pants and then belts, again with no associates approaching us to see if we needed help or had any questions. When I went to check out another associate came over (after I waited for a minute) to assist me with my purchase. Once again absolutely no eye contact or greeting such as "did you find everything okay today?" The first thing he said to me was asking my phone number for rewards (which I do appreciate being asked but thing it should follow a proper greeting). Once my purchase was complete I went to the restroom while my son and husband went to the car. On my exit of the store all three associates were at the front (Jennifer who was working the night prior, the blond haired woman who helped with my return and the young gentleman who helped with my purchase today) and not one of them said goodbye, have a nice day, etc...My husband and I have been loyal Boot Barn customers since long before it was even called Boot Barn! We frequently visited RCC when Joe was the manager (possibly owner, I'm not sure). He made sure that all employees had excellent customer service skills which is something that I feel Boot Barn now lacks! :( I have been to the locations in Fargo and Minneapolis and I feel like the Grand Forks location falls short!Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphoneGet Outlook for Android

Really wish they would carry kids clothes. At least button ups and jeans would be nice

Great customer service. Only downside was they didn't have our sizes in a few brands/styles of jeans.

The selection isn't great for anyone with big feet and a larger frame for men.

It is a great store with nice products, but how do you not sell kids clothes? A big disappointment!

I visited the store in Grand Forks, ND today and there was 4 employees standing behind the counter. I was not greeted when I walked in and at no time was I approached and asked if I needed any help. There were 8 other customers in the store all looking at items and looking to see if anyone were around to help them. In working in the retail business for 23 years I was ashamed of the customer service I was taught and taught my employees to treat customers like family. Boot Barn is a very good company but it seems they have a problem up here. I was going to buy jeans, shirts, and boots but without any help of employees who care of my needs I will probably go elsewhere.

Had a very horrible experience. We bought my wife boots she was going to wear to a concert. She was getting ready in them walking around the house and out to the car a few times. She didn’t even leave the house in them and they were hurting her feet so she changed shoes. We tried returning them within a week and they said since they were put on out side they wouldn’t take them back. My wife and her family all ride horses and have had boots all their lives a lot of them from boot barn. These were poor quality boots for $300 and to be treated like we were up to something by the staff was just unprofessional. None of our family will be returning to boot barn for new boots ever again!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I honestly would go to home of Economy is great or even scheels. They seem to actually treats their customers with some value. Thanks for nothing boot barn!!
