I love this place I have been dealing with them for over 3 years and alway please to do business with.. even after people have told me to try other companies I will know I deal with Aarons on all my stuff I need have never had a problem at all ever with this company

The Grand Forks team has to be some of the rudest retail employees I have every encountered since I moved here. I leased the Jamal set with them in June of last year and in February 2023 I had to return it due to falling behind on the payments since I broke my ankle and was unable to work. I was told that I would be able to re-lease the set when I was ready. Fast forward to now I am ready to start up my lease agreement again and I am told that there are no Jamal sets available in store at this time. That is okay with me. I can lease something else. Except, I was told by the general manager of the store, Jessica, that they would be picking up a Jamal set from a recently deceased couple's home (according to Jessica, they died in a car crash). She informed me after cleaning it that they would take pictures and send it to me once they have it. I was never sent any pictures of the set so I called to get the status of my new lease agreement and I was told by Jessica that they again do not have any Jamal sets. I reminded her of our previous conversation and she informed me that she never said any of that and basically called me a liar.I am now attempting to move forward with the Serenity set and I am again being given the runaround. I really just want to start up my new lease agreement and get the furniture that I would like. Every time I call or have any communication with them I treat them with the utmost respect and kindness only to receive condescending negativity in return. I was lied to about the Jamal set and as a customer was made to feel as if I did not know what I was talking about. It is to the point where I will no longer be calling the store or visiting them in person, but I will be communicating through the website.

Employees from this store have been routinely coming by and harassing/threatening my wife for the past several months. They have been trying to collect money from us/get contact information on the former tenant in our apartment complex who is the one that owes them money. To get into our apartment you need a code, so a couple employees always male wait in a car in the park lot, to follow someone into the building after they've punched their code in before coming and bannging on our door.

So I first wrote a review I n a couch that I bought from Aaron's in Fargo Nd on July 8th. The couch I bought broke after less then a month of buying it. Instead of leasing it I paid for the couch in full 4 days after delivery. I reached out to let to let them know the springs had broke. They send it out for repairs. So 2 weeks without a couch in my living room I finally get it back. The fist day of having it I knew it wasn't fixed springs were still broken. I contacted the store manager and also Aaron's directly. I then received a call from the regional manager that informed me I was not able to get a refund. He said " Hey at least we are not screwing you" We need to talk to the company we bought the couch from and we will replace it. A week go's by haven't heard anything. Then was told I refused a replacement couch( I never refused one why would I want to keep a broken one I paid over a 1000 dollars for?) They then told me to reach back out to the local store, I did then was told they would send a message to the regional manager. Another week go's by still haven't heard anything. Then was told in messenger they would have someone reach out to me. So now it has been almost a month since I got a broken couch back. Aaron's is not doing anything it seems to resolve this. Do not buy or lease anything from this company. They don't care how hard you work for your money, they also do not stand behind the products they sell. My next step is to picket the store. They think people will just stand by silently until they have worn you down. I work very hard for my money I am not going down quietly and will not stand for being ignored or pushed a side. Store overcharge my bank, when I called them he told me he wasn't sure how to fix it then said may take a few weeks to fix. I asked to talk to the manager. He said he's busy? . Really? We are so ? calling my bank to stop payment and going elsewhere. Called twice, still no call back.

Shady business practices. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone period cheap filthy usually released stuff they try say is brand new.

Was in the grand forks store browsing for new couch with my wife....and what I heard the regional manager who goes by the name jc refer to a majority of aarons customers are trailer trash...I've contacted aarons corporate several times and have not got this issue resolved so I figured I would let the public know ..

Honestly, I was very disappointed. My wife and I went in on 12/31/2019 at 1128 for a bedroom set and a living room set. We told the lady that we were from a town not to far off and wanted to see if they delivered. They didn't not, ( which I expected ) but their sister store did. However that's not why I was disappointed, what really bothered me was as soon as she found out that they didn't deliver and we would have to go to a different store, the lady became cold, pushy, and all-around-rude. She wouldn't answer any questions, she made us feel rushed out of the store. Now, There were no other customers in the store, it wasn't even close to her lunchtime, however, as I said, the second she found out she wouldn't make money off helping us, we became "not worth her time". So if you're in for any type of renting or buying for your house/apartment, I would suggest you drive the extra miles to any other store then the Grand Forks store.
