“Sometimes care seems to be more and more focused on what other services they can sell you. However at other times I have seen great care and concern regarding pet's current condition.”

“The past five years Dr. Toftelund has taken excellent care of our aging Golden Retriever Stanley - and before that her (former) colleague Dr. Green also provided great care for him. Dr. Toftelund has always been spot on in her diagnosis and treatment, and just as important has always done so with exceptional compassion. The rest of the staff, and especially Becky, has also been extremely kind and caring. I cannot recommend their practice highly enough. Thank you for your great care!”

“Moved to Fargo 6 years ago and had no idea what vet to go to, we asked around and most people said Southgate. It was a great decision because everyone is super friendly and great with our dogs. They were exceptionally compassionate when we had to put my baby to sleep, we literally couldn’t stop crying and they were super supportive and helpful when it came to creamated her and having momentos of her. Would definitely recommend this vet for your fur babies”

“Everyone there was very nice and explained the process and next steps very well. Also explained the cost of things up front and gave alternative routes. Highly recommend.”

“Today we said goodbye to a loved family member. It was one of the hardest days of our lives. Dr. Haroldson and her staff were a comfort through the whole process. Their compassion, kindness, and love helped us cope with our loss. From making a diagnosis through making a final decision on the next steps they were supportive and understanding of how hard these decisions are. They understand the true love of the pets in our life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us.”

“Took our sweet Samantha to get her vaccines here. Lady in the front was very nice. Seemed like a very fast visit. Only thing we didn't know or wasn't told was the side effects of the shots. We had to Google it, I thought the vet could of explained that to my Son.? Hesitate to go back there.”

“I came here twice so far. My male cat is generally very nice but with his kidney issue he was a bit more touchy. The staff was very kind to us.
More so impressed with my most recent visit. I have a very anxious and unpredictable siamese female. She has been needing to get seen but she was kicked out of her last vet we saw here in Fargo for being "aggressive". I told the staff that prior to us coming and they were more than helpful with the entire process. Turns out my "agressive" cat was having pain and the other vet office just deemed her "aggressive"
Shes very timid and sweet but was having issues with grooming and having us groom her, we thought it was just old age and anxiety, and if it wasn't for the staff and our very helpful vet (I can't remember her name) we would have never known she was having pain I'm her hips and her back.
They really took their time with her and didn't push her beyond what she was comfortable with.
We are excited to come back!”

“I brought my cockatiel in to figure out what was wrong. Everyone, from the front desk to the Vet and Vet tech, was so nice, and explained things very well. They answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. I'll be bringing my birds here from now on.”

“I have gone here for years and years and I have always had phenomenal service from the techs and vets here. They've always been kind and willing to work with you on what will be the best course of action going forward for the health of your pet. My cat is shy and nervous and they are always patient and kind with her when she comes in. When I had to get my dog put down, they were so understanding and kind, providing enough time to say goodbye and being very respectful of our family during our grief. I will not go anywhere else.”
