Didn’t have as much variety in colors for braiding hair as they claimed to have on their FB. Besides that, I had a great experience and will come here again if I need hair. Staff were helpful and kind.

The cheap hair is really nice and easy to use. I've gotten cheap hair other places, and it was horrible on my hands and tangled a lot. But this place has some really nice soft hair!

The store is never open. The business hours are listed and they store is still never open. That’s the problem with black businesses! They never do things that’s appealing for customer. And they never work normal hours for customers. This store seemed great to bad the service is terrible and the hours are wrong!Also the response the owner left to my WITHIN RIGHTS review was very odd. If your short staffed hire more people. Why open a store that IS CUSTOMER INCOME SUPPORTED, and tell a green money paying customer to go somewhere else because AS A OWNER your short staffed…… AS IF ITS THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM?! Like just change the work hours to fit the shorthanded times to better fit the PAYING CUSTOMERS NEEDs? Why would I care if your short staffed if the only thing i was trying to do was give my green money to you for your products just like everyone else. Small businesses are great and all especially blacks owned ones, but the non customer related excuses are much higher in black owned businesses then other businesses. And YES IM BLACK TOO. Any way, thanks for the response owner of urban beauty ❤️ I’ll take the advice and shop somewhere else. Be blessed

I had a phenomenal time at this location today. The person who worked there was very knowledgeable and kind. There were multiple options for what I wanted. They had wigs, crochet braid hair, weaves, and everything I needed to make my style work. There are so few beauty supply shops for Black hair care and this is where I will be shopping at exclusively in Fargo.
