I just left from the branch. The teller name Kris is so rude. She was not knowledgeable at all. She made me feel so uncomfortable. I’ve been banking with United savings for years. Please do better.

I had always been great at making all of the payments on my car loan on time & was really happy to be able to have my car completely paid off years before I was even supposed to. This car had initially been in both mine & my ex husbands name; I was granted sole ownership of the car in the divorce decree. I went to pick up the title & was extremely disappointed when learning that United Savings is refusing to release it to me. Their reasoning; my ex husband had taken out an additional auto loan which had a past due balance & they are using my car as collateral to his debt. My name was never anywhere on his loan & this was considered his debt in the divorce. I wish I would have known that it was pointless to pay my car off since I will never be granted the title for it. That happy "I paid off my first car" feeling is out the window after the bank I trusted in had made greedy loopholes to avoid giving it to me. I feel completely robbed. I paid this car off for no reason & no one at United Savings has offered any solutions for me & a majority of the managers I've spoken with don't even seem the least bit sympathetic to the fact that I'm now out several thousands of dollars to be left empty handed & punished for a debt that was never even mine to begin with.

This is in my opinion the best credit union around. They are always trying to help and they actually know who you are! You're not just a number to them.

Incredible. Did my due diligence over the phone to find out how to get a family member to join my credit union and then drove to the branch to be told I was misinformed by whomever I spoke to on the phone. Anyway took my family member a few blocks away to Gate City Bank and they serviced him just fine. Head someplace else to skip the bs I guess.

Bonnie Mohr, the VP of United Savings Credit Union, is very rude and blatantly lies to customers and has her employees back her immediately apparently. I am so disappointed to be knowing they're in charge of my money at this time. I had lost a job, wasn't able to have funds right away for an auto pull bill and was told I need to remember better on the first phone call. I corrected her on the remembering. Next, I later called as a supervisor wasn't available to discuss a refund of at least one $25 fee, I spoke with the VP apparently. I don't remember what I said but she then laughed at me and said she had someone sitting there to prove she didn't laugh at me. I couldn't believe the rudeness for the simple inability to have funds ready. Sadly, because I dealt with enough from my corporate people today, Bonnie set me over the edge with her simple sounds and I verbally let her have it. I did apologize but those mean nothing truly, to me anyway. I'm just really disappointed. I've always had such wonderful and great experiences with the ladies at the 45th location. This experience has set my thoughts so far back. Even Wells Fargo, the worst bank in the nation with their literal criminal employees and lawsuits, wouldn't give a CUSTOMER that much grief. I pay them to treat me like a bum? I work my a** off every day and expect much better than that, especially those entrusted with my dollars. I've NEVER been late on my loan lady!

Can't say enough about the service Caroline, Nick and United Savings service. They recognize us and are always happy to me. They're great to work with for loans we've gotten through them. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get away from the cold big bank feel. It's like banking with friends.
