It's a little too packed, very claustrophobic, and very bright. My wife likes it though.

Kelly was very very helpful today! She was super informative, answered every question, made a tasteful amount of small talk, and I am so satisfied with her customer service today! She helped me get all the makeup I'll need for my wedding in 5 days, and Faithya did a perfect shade match for my concealer! I love coming to ulta and the employees here are always at the top of their game. 100 stars!

So so disappointed with my salon experience. Unfortunately today was actually my second time with the same stylist and both times had 2 very bad experiences. My fault for not remembering her name and coming back to her.
I come to ULTA salon as back up when my original salon artist is not available, mainly for root touch ups only.
1. First time I asked for a full root touch up. It was poorly done that she asked me to come back again and she would touch up the areas for free. Waste of my time- sitting there for 2 hours in the same week twice!
2. Today was even worse. I again went back for a full root touch up.
She was so messy that there was hair dye all around the edges of my face. She washed my hair within 5 mins and I could tell she didn’t thoroughly wash out all the conditioner. I asked for facial framing and my bangs are the shortest and ugliest they have ever been.
Then she used almost every product on the counter in my hair while blow drying.
Curled my hair and half the curls on the right side of my face were out by the time I stood up.
Then she says “I deep conditioned your hair, that’s why it looks like a layer of wax”
No honey, you did an extremely poor job.
Then I noticed dye on my hands and sweatpants.
Came home to wash my hair again because it was SOOOO GREASY and DISGUSTING!
I’m so upset but it’s my fault for returning to that salon.
Unfortunately I’m a diamond member at ULTA and get good perks with the salon but really not worth the money. I’d rather pay double and go to someone who knew what they were going.
Here’s to waiting months for it to grow back……
Update:
Still annoyed. Just don’t go to Michelle if you have long hair.

Cashier was mad that I wouldn't give her my phone number. That is private. Sophie just pushed my product and receipt toward me and wouldn't bag my 38.00 item...she wanted me out. She asked for a phone number of ANYONE that shopped there when I wouldn't give her mine. Rude. I don't see myself going back if I have to hand over a phone number. She almost didn't ring me up and said the system NEEDS an account.

Never again. I should have said no when I saw my hair dressers hair… I couldn’t stop crying mid appointment to when I got home. I hate it and hair is really important to me and she just didn’t seem to get that

On 5/2 I made a purchase for 60.09 at the fargo location. I had bought some fake eyelashes and a few other things for a trip.
I had requested an email be sent to me, I never received such an email. I thought that was odd and immediately went back to the store, they couldn't provide a receipt at all and told me to reach out to corp. I work in tech, so I get that sometimes things happen with emails.
I contacted their corporate office, who told me ulta could look up the transaction. When I came into the store, they couldn't find any transaction associated with my account or phone number. They offered me $10 for the $50 some odd merchandise. I said nope, and contacted their corporate office. Their corporate office could not locate any transaction and continued to point me back to the store.
I requested a conference call as the store vs corp had different ideas of this transaction and providing a receipt. It's crazy to me that menards somehow posses the ability/technology to look up receipts by credit card number and ulta can't?? Corp never emailed me back.
Unfortunately, I had to dispute the transaction. ULTA provided back "proof" of a gift card transaction that occurred on 4/11 which is wild to me because I literally was not in the state and I provided that proof back to my credit card company, dates do not match and neither do the memebrIDs on the receipt. IDK who is doing the dispute work at this location/corp but come on.
Therefore, I am speculating that the cashier entered in their own phone number/memberID to get the points - which is why they can't find the transaction in question.
Lesson learned: Don't shop here and if you do, get a physical receipt printed.

I got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. Every cosmetologist at Ulta has been great.

I get everything from here. Most of the ladies are great when I go in there . I am a blue-collar worker, and after work, I'm not looking my best when I go in there, and most of them still treat me, kind and respectful. It is nice to be able to go into a store and be treated with respect . I do not shop anywhere else for my beauty needs ❤️

Max was so helpful! I went in looking for new shampoo and they definitely helped me out! I was doing Paul Mitchel and Sol de Janiero, They directed me towards a different brand, and I can say that I’m very happy with it so far.

Very disappointed in formal make up application! I should’ve asked her to stop when the foundation color was 2 shades lighter than my skin tone and literally dripping off my face! She told me to “trust the process” when I asked why it was so thick; it was “going to be blended in.” At several times during the application process I expressed my concern, but was reassured that after, this or that, it would just melt together and give “that airbrushed look.” There was no dimension, no contour, no color match! I was there for over an hour and finally gave up trying to have her fix it! I left Ulta bawling. I shouldn’t have paid, but I did! My husband still teases me that I looked like a china doll with a bright white face! Luckily I brought my own make-up and had time to remove and reapply before the wedding! 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend formal make-up application at this store!

Today this old dinosaur went into a young person’s store for the first time since she put on a pandemic mask. It was time for foundation. Tori met me at the door and was an absolute delight! No pressure, just kind questions, and easy guidance. What a great experience

Ulta is a cosmetic department store. It's a place to buy almost any beauty products, until you have an ipsy account and were sent a product, that when I went and asked for it at Ulta, found out they don't carry it... I have spent 500.00 in one round, upgrading my cosmetic line from cheep, and went with barenaked minerals line, got home and opened the products, and became almost completely outraged, was super not happy about the match I was given, went back the next day and everything was opened, they exchanged it super fast and we're super friendly and apologetic... The color was so orange, I was embarrassed to even go wearing it. I had to have someone else help with the tone match, and it turned out great. I will go again when I need something.
