Moved in at the start of 2023 and we love it here not to mention it's nice that they are small enough where their main offices are right in the same build and it's super quite for being right off a busy roadway at 4955 address..definitely recommend vs. Going with someone like enclave (our old apartment/landlord) the 4955 they have underground parking, game room, a movie theater! Yoga studio, weight room, community room to reserver for gatherings,3 seasons outdoor qtrs, fireplaces AND grilles open to the renters with no fees! Super nice highly recommend!

I wouldn’t recommend renting from this place. It’s been over two months since I have had access to any of the amenity rooms cause my key fob doesn’t work due to a “glitch in the system.” I understand this issue taking a couple weeks to resolve but over two months is unacceptable. Especially when I only signed a nine month lease. I have mentioned this issue a few times to management but there seems to be no urgency with resolving the issue. I feel like I’m being scammed because other residents key fobs still work. For paying $1200 a month issue should not happen, at least for this long. This is in response to skaff management. Why couldn’t this be done two months ago when I first mentioned the issue? Sorry, I don’t like to “feel this way” but the whole situation was handled very poorly.

We just moved out (moved to another state) and I just cant find the words to describe my experience with Skaff. They are fantastic, and long in short I reccomend to everybody.

An average apartment as long as nothing needs maintenance. Been waiting 6 weeks to have a drawer fixed from my move-in check-in along with 2 weeks for my garbage disposal (which doesn’t turn on) to get fixed. Checked with the rental office to ensure the online maintenance requests were received correctly and Nick let me know that it’s at least a month to get things fixed.

Nice entry area that smelled good. Main building is not that new, but still has that new apartment feel.

Best apartments I've lived in by far. Always clean and quiet. The staff are honestly some of the nicest people you will meet and somehow never miss a call or email to the office. All facilities are immaculately maintained and any requested maintenance is quickly and kindly done. Can't say enough good things, highly recommend for your next place to call home.

Just no.I had a dog barking constantly above me. No help from management. I had a neighbor screaming 24/7. I use to LOVE it here when i lived there before. Management went DOWNHILL

Checking in is easy. Checking out, however, BEWARE. Your deposit gets returned to you about a month after you leave. Whatever they deem unclean will be charged HEAVILY towards your deposit. You've been warned. Good luck.

We just recently moved out this year, and we were sad to leave. We had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend Skaff to anyone. If we had to go back to renting somewhere else, Skaff would be our top choice.

If there were 0 stars that's what I would give them. Young people starting out trying to get their first apartment and they won't approve without a co-signer (that's fine) but they said it was approved and won't return the deposit. Approval is not approval with conditions that someone else be responsible for the rent also. Three words. ..Better Business Bureau. Now not only do you not return the deposit to this person. ......you keep the receipt for the deposit when it was handed to you so the deposit could not be returned . I hope you ate proud of taking advantage of the young people trying to rent their first apartment. God sees this. The next words are Lawyer because you want to be so money hungry.

I’ve rented with Skaff Apartments for over a year and my sister in law for almost 3 years. We’ve lived in their apartments, twin homes and now a single family home. Ever since we have moved into our single family home we’ve had nothing but problems. First it was the deck was absolutely and completely unsafe, I run an in home daycare and I did not pass the inspection to open because the deck was deemed unsafe, it took 2 weeks of calling to finally get the deck fixed and for it to be safe. We also had every outlet on our countertop not work for about a week, the GFI kept blowing, another inconvenience with running a daycare this took calling and complaining for the maintenance man to spend 5 minutes replacing it. NOW we have discovered black mold in our rental home, our whole laundry room is full of mold along with the Linoleum being soaking wet (more then likely the source of the mold), leading out into the hallway, my daycare space is downstairs, my daycare children sleep downstairs. When I had asked maintenance to not touch or spray the mold until we pay out of our OWN pocket to have a professional come and test the mold and the air, maintenance proceeded to tell me that “he was going to do his job”, then I had said “well I would hate to have my business go under because of the mold not being handled correctly” he proceeded to tell me “he runs a much bigger business then me”, all of the things that maintenance was telling us was the EXACT opposite of what the professionals were telling us (mold doesn’t grow on wood; mold doesn’t come from moisture, mildew does; if it’s wet it’s mildew; spraying the mold will kill it *with a $4.57 bottle of cleaner*). I told maintenance that I was going to get ahold of the owner of the company Sam Skaff, I walked away from the conversation and the exact words that fell out of the maintenance supervisors mouth were “I was going to tell her to go right the f**k head, I don’t care”. When I brought this to the attention of management they acted as though it was no big deal. Typically I’m not one to write a review about a company but this is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. If you are thinking of renting through this company, please be sure you do a very thorough walk through that involves looking for mold and expect all and any maintenance issues to be swept under the rug, rude customer service and done in an untimely matter.

An amazing location and wonderful place to live. I could not be more happy with choosing Skaff Apartments as my first apartment in the Fargo area. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are taken care of. I am proud to call this place home.
