Petro has a really nice separate filling area for larger vehicles—completely apart from the regular cars. Our motorhome isn’t large, but this separate island would have accommodated the big guys with towed vehicles behind.

My gas tank is on fumes, so I prepay $7. ALL the $ I have at the time. The cashier declines my transaction (unbeknownst to me). I proceed to walk from the counter to my car and back, THREE DAM TIMES! And every time, he's telling me that "I've authorized it", "it timed out", and "should be good now". Still have no gas. Super upset. And my night has been dramatically affected.

This place is full criminal and they’re money hungry and they will not treat you like human being they have no Respect for truck drivers I did DOT test here and they told me to change one tire they didn’t had trailer tire so they told me if I want I can do it elsewhere then I come back to get pass sticker and I come back after one hour they said the mechanic is leaving know come back after 4 days
And when I asked them why they said the mechanic refused to do the pass sticker because of my color and that is the only way he can abuse me and even my tire was good so if you are coming her for service please stay away otherwise you will regret it

Very nice , restrooms are clean , friendly staff , great prices on everyday needed items and some cool souvenirs, highly recommend stopping here

They look at you like you are committing a crime at night. Like you are doing drugs and questioning your every move. The discrimination is awful!
Be very careful when you use the temporary mens bathroom, which is actually a woman’s bathroom, as they are cleaning the mens main bathroom. I was in the temporary mens bathroom and the worker did not see if the bathroom was clear of male customers and they switched the mens sign back to the woman’s sign. So as I was trying to finish up in the stall, woman kept coming in there to use the bathroom. It was so humiliating and embarrassing! The management does not have a high standard of operation at the Fargo Petro and they hire anyone off the street. That’s why the Fargo Petro Truck Stop gets a 1 star from me!!
If you want a 5 star truck stop experience, I highly recommend going to the Love’s truck stop in south Fargo!! They are 100x better! An incredible experience at Love’s!! But be very careful at Petro! It’s a role of the dice there!

Put my truck in this shop with the complaint of my drive brakes weren’t grabbing like they normally do. The mechanic said I needed new slack adjusters. They adjusted them said they were out of adjustment Paid the bill of $73.67. Went to Omaha stopped at SAPP BROTHERS and had truck greased and was ADVISED A RIGHT REAR WHEEL SEAL WAS BLOWN AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEE FOE A LITTLE WHILE FROM THE BUILD UP ON THE BRAKE SHOES. NOW HOW CAN A CERTIFIED MECHANIC MISS THAT SEEMS THEY JUST WANTED TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK. VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS.

We have stopped many an evening at this Petro. Enjoyed dining at the Dolly Down, had a sandwich at Charley's or Popeyes, always had clean showers and friendly people. The shop got us needed service a time or twoBUT...since we can no longer be thereI guess our money is no good. We are not the enemy. Keep your stupid reasons and we will keep our money and tell other trucks to do the same. Bobtail trucks are not the enemy.
