Nate has helped us with several boat purchases over the years. Always knowledgeable, professional and honest with fair pricing. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks Nate!!

What an easy purchase. Nate arranged for the pontoon to be indoors for us to see, he had all the docs ready to go so we could catch a flight, and he hooked us up with a reasonably priced insurance. This place is great and knowledgeable about what they sell. Nate was awesome. Definitely 5 stars.

Called in to have an estimate on wind damage and repair to our Jayco 5th wheel camper. First question was did we buy it from them. We bought it used privately, so no. They replied that they were too busy with campers that were bought from them so couldn't do ours. They could have possibly gained a new customer if they would have taken care of us. We own both a camper and pontoon so definitely won't be going to them for any trades!

Nate in Fargo was super helpful and went out of his way to help us find the perfect camper! We would definitely work with McLaughlin's again! When we see the McLaughlin sticker on our camper, we have nothing but positive feelings!

I was nervous about dealing with a business in another state. However, Nate was awesome. He went above and beyond to help me, to get me all info I needed; he took videos of boat and helped me get into a beautiful pontoon boat at a great price. He helped in details about delivery to my home. He was prompt, thorough and professional. I recommend McLaughlins without hesitation.

My wife and I were a little hesitant to deal with McGlaughlin's due to some negative reviews we had read. However, our experience with McGlaughlin's in Fargo was nothing but positive. Right from the get go we were taken care of. We dropped by on a whim on a Saturday and Nate made sure that we knew we would be assisted as soon as possible as they were short staffed. We were able to look at the pontoon we were interested in at our leisure. Nate came out and checked on us and answered our questions as soon as we was done with his prior customers. We went inside and worked on the credit app and discussed money down. Another gentleman stopped us and made sure we were being taken care of due to them only having 3 staff on for the day. We heard back from Tara on the following Monday letting us know our financing options on the pontoon we wanted. She let us know that our deposit was refundable til the next day if we wanted to look at it again-which we took advantage of. When we were comfortable with our decision she got it all over to service to get it cleaned up and ready. I got a call from the service department that afternoon letting me know that it was scheduled to get cleaned up and ready for customer show. The day we were supposed to pick it up I received a call that the mechanic decided to start it up again to make sure everything was still running smoothly, at this time they discovered an issue with the trim pump and had the parts ordered before they even called me. they put up with my numerous questions and made sure I was taken care of the entire process. From sales to service our experience was nothing but positive from Nate, Tara and Service Advisor Rachel! We are super happy with our pontoon and trailer purchase and highly Recommend Nate- he is a low pressure salesman which is what we prefer, he let us know he was around for any questions and let us do our thing!

Purchased a 400.00$ power converter and was told it was compatible with my camper. Hired an electrician, only to tell me it's not compatible. We never hooked it up or used it at all. Tried to return it but they won't accept the return. Was never told they don't do returns on electrical items.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. Terrible customer support. Purchased a brand new travel travel trailer. There were some issues with the camper. We brought it in for them to fix. They claim to have fixed the issue, but issues were not resolved. They 'complete' the fixes and forget to let you know it is available for pickup. When you discover the issue is not resolved, ypu bring it back for them to fix, and they keep it for another 2 months. Personally, we have had a primary system not functional for the past 2 years and when asking for a replacement system, they get angry and hang up on you. Highly suggest you avoid this retailer when purchasing your next camper.

We live in Arizona and were In the process of buying an RV from this dealer; however, before we were able to finalize they sold it to another party. Very unprofessional since we had already indicated our intent to buy with another member of their sales staff, to the point we were willing to make the 1600 mile drive for delivery. Lack of communication and a true disconnect that makes me question their sales practices. Apparently having a buyers order and communication with one member of the team is meaningless. And to the dealers response about money down; I indicated to the salesman that I could pay cash and was never asked for a deposit. This is essentially the same as being there, expressing a commitment to one salesman and then having another work a deal behind your back before you even pull out the checkbook. Unscrupulous business practices to say the least. I can see by some other posts that this is a questionable place to do business.

Purchased a 2023 Forester pontoon from McLaughlin Brainerd, but it was located in Fargo. Pontoon was taken to Detroit Lakes to be fitted with accessories. Problems started with the one person who does all the finance for McLaughlin. My quote from Brainerd was not honored because the salesman forgot to tax the accessories. An honest mistake, but nothing was communicated and a different amount was sent to my financial institution. Finally got that settled. Once in Detroit Lakes, it was three weeks of radio silence about delivery. When pushed, I took delivery and placed the pontoon in the water. Let me describe the nightmare.1. Battery dead, lucky a carry a jump battery2. Temp gauge I paid for was non-functioning3. The installed Hummingbird fish finder was non-functioning4. The bimini was completely missing5. The steering was hooked up backward, turn right to go left6. The mooring cover had a rip7. It appears the pontoon had been dropped and their was a large crack in the right toon along with a road rash that was pretty much covered by the bunk trailer. After taking pontoon out of the water, a steady stream of water was observed coming from the tube. It appears that the pontoon had been taking on water from the moment it was launched. It really concerns me my family was placed at risk.Have requested a full refund and my trade-in returned.

McLaughlins did an amazing job selling me my camper. Matt was the perfect sales person, Tara with finance was really good and even came in on the weekend so we could sign papers due to our busy work schedule.

Hmmm all of the reviews here are 1 star, with good reason IMO. See the 1994 Glastron 175 on their website for $5000? I actually purchased that boat, THEN they checked it mechanically and discovered an issue that required a new part. Depending on who you talk to, it either HAS been repaired or HASN'T been repaired. We got tired of waiting and asked for our money back. We received it in good time, no problem. I did ask if the boat got repaired if we could have first dibs, one salesperson said it is repaired, it has also reappeared on their website so beware and ask for your own independent mechanical inspection before committing to purchase. Sad that a longtime FM business would operate this way. Be particularly wary of Greg Michelson, he ignored me repeatedly.
