I had some of the best service of my life today. I went in on a busy Saturday with only the idea of needing a new pair of shoes. I had not committed to a purchase yet. I was greeted with a welcoming smile from River who I can only assume is the super star of sales. I asked about sizing on probably 10 different pairs and not once did she seem like I was interrupting or inconveniencing her day. Well all this was going on she had jokes and small talk about my interests and hobby to fill the time. I ended up buying a pair and ordering another. If you are in need of new shoes and an excellent salesperson who will take the time to get to know you and find what you actually need I can not recommend River enough.

Wonderful store with people who are real and not constantly fake sounding. Feels like a real communication is being had and not just a script being read to you. Very hands on and helpful for being a small store.

If I could give 0 stars it would be more fitting. Terrible experience. We love journeys and have shopped here since our 8yr old started wearing shoes. Today we experienced the most disrespectful, rude, and childish customer experience we’ve ever experienced at Journeys. I did not get the proper help to purchase shoes. In fact, all of them sat behind the counter and provided zero help. I needed a size 4 in kids and the short lady with dark shoulder length hair behind the counter said they didn’t carry that size and turned around to proceed to show her coworkers something on her phone. Obviously I knew they could offer me a size in women’s that would fit my daughter but they failed to do so. I had to complain of their lack of good customer service to get help. A new employee offered to help me while the rest hid in the back and giggled at their disrespect .. we got the shoes in women’s and left. Terrible. Had I not promised my daughter shoes TODAY, We would have waited and ordered online to avoid this nonsense. Takes 0 efforts to be kind and deliver exceptional customer service.

Tyler, I think it was, gave us a laugh with his pitches, but he's a keeper. Wish them the best there, even though we did not purchase anything, no not even the shoe protector... haha

I was in there to return some shoes my husband decided he didn’t like. The lady was rude to me as she asked why I was returning them. She just had a yucky tone of voice and didn’t make me feel very good. I really didn’t get a positive, welcoming vibe in that store.

The female employee that was working the register this evening is incredibly rude and has a horrible attitude. She wears glasses and has blonde streaks in her hair. When we asked if this store had a certain size in Hey Dude shoes for toddlers, she was very snarky and snippy. She didn't listen to what we said when rudely asked what size after being told more than once. When she brought out the shoe boxes, she rudely and aggressively handed them to us.I understand it's the holiday season and working in retail can be crazy and stressful, but don't work in retail if you have a nasty attitude and can't be nice to your customers.

Not friendly and no idea of what basic customer service looks like. Not one worker behind the desk looked or asked if I wanted to try anything on. I had to go out of my way to ask them to grab a size for me. Felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking they do their job. It was awkward and eventually I just left. It really sucks because there is not that many shoe stores in fargo and now one less I will visit.

I work in the mall. I was off on yesterday but my boss needed me to come in, I needed slip resistant shoes which I already have a pair but I was unable to go home at the time. I needed a less expensive pair of shoes. I was given the wrong size after getting to work I called the store and told them the size was wrong. I asked for a nine , even asked the cashier if it was a size 9 she said yes. They offered me a more expensive pair which I did not need. I told the assistant for whoever was in charge at the time that I will return the shoes tomorrow because I was the only manager on duty to say the least now I can't get a return

Went to check out the docs and a nice blond friend helped me :-) they did not have my size in stock but they helped me find what i needed to order it in. Very nice helpful and speedy. Thank you :-)

I've had two bad experiences with this shop. If I'm paying $150-200 for shoes best believe you better not give me the worn out display shoes. You're better off getting shoes through the official brand website. Better prices.. you might even come across a sale

Went to pick up some vans for my girl. Staff here acted like I wasn’t there. When someone finally helped me, I was told that they didn’t have her size. I asked if I could order them and they just said no. Didn’t even offer to help me pick something else. Whoever runs this store needs to find a better staff because right now they care more about talking to each other and flirting than they do about helping paying customers.

Horrible customer service! West Acres store walked out and will not waste my time or money here again. Rude staff, want to support stores to keep them open but will order online from another place before ever coming back.
