I bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue on July22, 2024. I was told no down payment but when it came to signing papers they told me $1000 which does not go towards the principle I later found out. Payments were higher once we got to signing but I agreed and signed. But less then a month later the rear differential went out. They quoted me over $4,000.00 in repairs. When I called the sales manager who signed papers with me, he said it was my fault for having a spare and riding on it too long. I put the spare on it friday. And on the way to get four new tires saturday morning is broke down. Had to have it towed. But nothing they can do even though i've read these go out around the same milage on these types of cars. Because theyre blaming me for using a spare. Whats the spare for if u cant use it. It was on there less than 24 hours.

You can buy a used car and think you're getting a good deal almost anywhere. The true test is when you take possession of it and begin to learn more about it. That's when your relationship with the dealer and their team truly gets put to the test. It's important that the dealership doesn't wash their hands of you as you walk out the door.
That’s why I've purchased my last two cars from Gateway Service Center. Last October, I bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox. Shortly after, I discovered the car needed a new engine. Gateway met me more than halfway on the cost and did the work at their service center. Now, I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
More recently, I bought a 2017 Ford Transit Connect, only to find it had a very unusual set of locking lug nuts, and the key was missing. It cost me approximately $1,000 to have the lugs removed so I could replace the tires. I had that work done by Kyle's Custom Repairs in Grand Forks because the locking lug nuts required welding and special attention. When I explained the situation to Sean Thompson, Andy McDonnell, and Ryan Payson at Gateway, they were each helpful in making me whole for the expense of the lug nut removal by authorizing repairs that were roughly equal in cost for brake work that was required.
Would I have been happier if there hadn't been an issue with the missing lug nut key to begin with? Yes. But the bigger point is that the issue was resolved. That's why I will continue to go to Gateway with confidence, knowing that if something is missed during the sale, I won’t be left holding the bag afterward.

I stopped in to test drive some larger vehicles on a whim to get a feel for what types of vehicles I might want to investigate in the future, The salesman were great and understood what i was looking for in a vehicle and made some great recommendations, honestly I wasnt looking for a vehicle right at the moment but It wasn't out of the question if they had a good deal available to me, the salesman and their team actually gave me a pretty good offer and I actually considered taking it, but as soon as it was handed to their finance team they dropped the ball hard by attempting to bait and switch while uninformed of anything the salesman did. They got greedy and set up an impossible financing rate of 50% while trying to squeeze me for a larger down payment than the already incredible amount i was going to put down or have me choose another vehicle from the lot of lesser value. The finance guy they had was clearly green and had no clue about the situation or deal and insulted my intelligence at the same time. Id be more than happy to do a deal similar to the original with some additional terms of my choosing, but honestly if you want a good deal I just recommend getting pre-approved at a credit union and know what you want going in. Work with their salesman, not their finance team. My recommendation to the owner is to dump your finance team and get some guys in there with experience because they cost you my purchase and probably many others.

Wonderful experience today at Gateway! I knew what truck I wanted when I walked in the door and my salesman, Ade, was able to get me in for a test drive immediately. He was relatable and made the process really smooth without trying to hard. The lobby was comfortable and coffee was surprisingly good.

Ryan Graham was great! He was very friendly, helpful, easy to deal with and patient. It took me a couple weeks and multiple test drives to find what I wanted and Ryan was always there with a great attitude and willingness to help! My experience with this dealership was amazing! The place looked so neat and clean first coming in. They had our car pulled up front and turned on when we got there to look at it.The offered free beverages while we waited for paperwork. Everyone we talked to was very kind and helpful. It was a quick and easy experience with them. Im loving the new vehicle.
