I shop here all the time, so I know they have a high turnover rate for employees, but they need more training before they left on their own. The clerk couldn't get half my stuff to scan they were wanting just a guess at prices on items from the floral department. I had cupcakes that she turned on their side, multiple times, trying to figure out how to bag them. Needless to say, none of the frosting is still on the cupcake

This is what I call a grocery store. It's not over the top like a Whole Foods, but I was blown away by the cleanliness and order. Perfectly stocked shelves, beautiful meat, fish and sushi.

Worst Caribou ever. I went to go get a coffee while I did my shopping and two different employees saw me waiting did not acknowledge me. I thought maybe they were open yet for the morning so I eventually asked "are you guys open?" To which the girl behind the counter say "what do you mean open?" I responded "can I order a coffee here or are you guys not ready for the day?" Truly thinking I was in the wrong and was too early. She motioned at the blender and goes "I'm making other order". There was no "I'll be right with you", "good morning! I'll be right there", no acknowledgement or kindness at all. I apologized and then left. Truly stole the joy out of something so simple I was looking forward to this morning.

GF bought a customized birthday cake for her daughter. Asked for vanilla with whipped frosting and make a custom design. They did great decorating the cake. The cake itself on the other hand was not so tasty. May have been in the oven a bit too long. Was pretty dry and nobody much cared for it. Once again they did a great job decorating the cake! Lol

I worked at the South Gate location. Was told I would average 30 hours a week. I got hired in November and time after time they cut my hours down to 8 a week and even no hours sometimes! A guy in my department quit and I was told I would get his hours. Now a couple weeks later they hired a brand new guy and gave him my hours. They took days I already had on the schedule and gave them to him. Im guessing they wanted to frustrate me and make me quit. Next week I had 0 hours and all my hours went to a new guy over me when I’ve been their for 6 months! These guys are horrible employers. Everytime I asked about my hours it was always someone else I had to talk to. Even when the managers know why my hours were getting cut. I have video of me confronting them about cutting my hours again and they treat me like trash in the video! I’ll send it to anyone who wants to see it. If you want to work 8 hours a week and get treated badly this place is for you!
