The bank is fine. I have been doing business with them for years with no issues. Don't need to contact them too much.

I stopped in Fargo and am going to Canada. Wanted to exchange some US for Canadian money. The teller and her supervisor were very polite but with no reason given as to why they can't exchange money if you don't have an account. Just 'No'.It appears bank policy has no interest in promoting tourism in Fargo or making tourists feel welcome and encouraging them to spend money in the area.If it is worry about counterfeit money or fraud it would be easy to require a person to get the US dollars from their ATM and then purchase Canadian.Being treated like a pariah does not encourage me to do business with an unfriendly bank.If I were to open an account in the area it would not be with Bell Bank.

Very Happy with Bell Bank on 13th in Fargo. My wife and I had multiple needs and Kris quickly understood our needs and put everything together just perfectly.

I normally have amazing and fast service when I go in, but today I had to call to dispute a charge and McKenzie was extremely helpful and kind! She was able to walk me through the process in a very understanding and professional way!

As a first time homeowner and Realtor I would never suggest this company. After sending me about 50 spam mail in the span of two months to buy their life insurance policy’s I thought when they started calling me it was to do the same things. I set up my automatic payments a couple days after the first of the months so it didn’t take the payment. All they did was call me once a week and say “this is bell bank servicing department, please call us back at….” With a new number every time. It wasn’t til a month later when they emailed me and said I was behind on a payment. I emailed them back and paid it immediately. If they would have told me on the voicemails that I was behind on a payment I would have called back. Extremely disappointed with their service and wouldn’t recommend them to any of my clients.

Normally I've had nothing but positive experiences with you folks yet today at the 13th Ave.location,by Gordmans was appalling to say the least. At approximately 1015 am my mom,who is almost 75 yrs.old was told by a man teller that it was her fault that her paycheck blew away because she incorrectly placed her check in the receptacle, therefore it was her fault! We live in ND where the wind can blow incessantly &today was 1 of those days. I understand that miscalculations & mistakes happen, however I don't believe that it was necessary to tell my Mom that her paycheck blowing away was her fault! Talk about a demeaning experience! Banks are a chosen business, meaning that most people choose to utilize your establishment, would think that would be something important to remember when dealing with your clients especially those who may be older or have different abilities. It's a shameful situation regardless of gender, age or nationality.

I’m changing my review of this place. I recently had a 900 dollar fraudulent charge made to my account the day my rent was due. I was a little nervous at first because I kept being told by bell that the charge needed to clear before I could dispute it and that it would then take up to seven days to receive the funds back which I thought was a bit long given how shady the transaction was. For background there is absolutely no way this could be a legitimate charge it’s for an obscene amount in a foreign country with an extremely low exchange rate. Long story short. After speaking with bell and especially thanks to Dia and the fraud team at bell bank that transaction is being reversed today so that I can feed my child and pay my rent. Thank you so much Dia (I hope I’m not misspelling/mispronouncing your name) for changing my perspective on bell bank overnight. From the start I have not been happy with this institution and rated them one star for some seriously bad customer service judgment calls on their part but now I’m rating them five stars for helping me through this difficult and stressful situation. Thank you

This is the worst bank ever. I went into the bank to cash a bond. The manager completely threw a fit because I owed the bank money from 12 years ago. Told me the bank was going to take the bond for payment. Humiliated me for 30 minutes and then eventually let me cash it.

I would not trust any Bell Bank branch to safeguard your private information. I was working with a broker in the Duluth branch on a mortgage loan until I learned that he and the bank manager had disclosed private information to my employer with whom they had a personal relationship. I repeatedly contacted the Fargo headquarters, received a couple of calls from HR indicating that someone would call me back and it has now been two months without any reassurance that my information will not be further disclosed.

High overdraft fees if your young and don't make much money or are bad with money I'd stick with chime instead of vulture bell bank, terrible hours, cookies aren't even that good. it's a bank, switch to chime.

Upon reading a tabloid in the local newspaper which spewed lies about my husband's business dealings, Bell Bank closed me and my kid's personal checking accounts. Then they took the monies out of me and mykid's accounts and they applied them to a small loan my husband had with them. Bell Bank took the money that my kids earned through their hard work and without authorization, they used my kid's money to pay off their dad's loan with them! Bell bank did all of this without notice and without any verification that the statements made by the newspaper were even true. The statements made in fact were not true and the newspaper had to write a retraction. Bell Bank likes to try and act like they're a good Christian bank who cares about their customers but the truth is they deem themselves as God - judge and jury - and based on hearsay, they will completely ruin your life by cutting you off from your money and they will steal it to use for their own purposes. Do not bank with Bell Bank.
