Not happy with the services at all. Took my dog in on an emergency visit for an unknown injury on his tail. When the vet saw my dog she could see he had a tail injury, but she could not say what the injury was from because he would not let her even touch his tail. He would jump away and pull his tail away not letting her grab it to get a closer look. The vet said keep an eye on it and gave antibiotics for infection and anti inflammatory for pain. The reason why I'm not happy with the services is because it seemed like she didn't want to take the time in trying to figure out what caused the injury or even the extent of the injury. A mild sedative could have been given to my dog so she could actually touch his tail to get a better look at the wound. Telling us what to keep an eye on exactly would have been nice too. Instead I paid extra money for an emergency vet visit to get medications I could have ordered on chewy.com A diagnosis would have been nice too since the wound looks like an insect bite of some kind and the fact that the entire tip of his tail is white indicating maybe nerve damage or something. The amount paid for the visit is not an issue because my dog is well worth it, but some kind of diagnosis and possibly the vet asking questions to give a guess of a diagnosis would have been nice

Called after hours this evening as we had a dog injury. The on-call doc answered her phone and she even called me back to see the status of our estimated time of arrival. We ended up getting in to a vet closer but I had forgotten to call since my little girl was upset because of all the blood. I didn't catch the doctors name but I can say that she definitely deserves 5 stars for customer service and being willing to see our dog even though she hadn't ever seen our small animals before. Thank you so much.

1 star is too many for this place. Go to Circle C or Bismarck. The doctors are great but the receptionists have about 5 brain cells split between them.

Dr Erika does an amazing job caring for our exotics (birds) in an area where options can be very limited. She has taken the time to know their needs and personalities, and I feel very confident with the care we receive!

I bring all my pets here, have since I moved up to ND. They are always friendly. Recently My senior dog was in lots of pain (from his hips) and they got us in right away to help make him more comfortable. It's very much appreciated how much they care!!

I took my dog here to get groomed and they had attached 2 box fans to his kennel to dry him. My dog was shaking after I got him and was shaved extremely short. I felt judged by the groomer and the environment was extremely stressful for a dog. I definitely would not bring your elderly dog here. They vet staff was always good to my dog before when he needed shots, so I was extremely surprised by my experience.

We’ve taken our pets to West Dakota a few times now and never had a single problem. This past weekend, had an issue with my kitty, Joey. Emergency vet did a wonderful job taking care of him and putting up with his attitude (sorry again about that!) We will continue using West Dakota for our pets needs! (Inserting pic of Joey cuddling & feeling better!! ?)
