Website and door said they are open till 8pm. Got here at 7:25pm look at a table I saw online. No one answering the phone and doors locked. A waste of a trip.

We just purchased a newer, larger home and went shopping at Zimmerman's as several years ago we purchased a very nice leather couch from them and were pleased with the process and the couch. I wanted an oversized leather recliner and they only had one style on hand so we ordered the recliner. It took over 8 weeks and was delivered last Friday. Neither my wife or I liked the recliner. It was too big for our living room, too soft, the leather material looked cheap (brushed) and not the color we expected, it did not fit well with the other furniture and it was too big even for me. We immediately went to their store and informed them we did not like the recliner and wished to return it. I expected we would pay a penalty for returning the recliner as the recliner was $1400. We would have been satisfied with a $500 "re-stocking" fee and $900 store credit towards a different recliner or other furniture we are purchasing. The owner's daughter who is apparently the general manager said no, this was a "special order" and there are no returns on special orders. Plus she did not even have the professionalism to talk directly to us. She had an underling call us with the bad news. We have never had a furniture company not work with us to resolve an issue. The sales person never said there are no returns on special orders. The assistant manager who helped on the sale never informed us there are no returns on special orders and there was no signed posted at the counter when we paid for the recliner. Don't order anything through Zimmerman's as if you have an issue with it, you are stuck with it. Also they billed our credit card the day the recliner was ordered even though it took over 8 weeks for it to arrive.

The furniture and store were decent, but the man who greeted us seemed rude and like he did not want us there at all. He seemed reluctant to help us and hardly said two words. He seemed irritated that we were even there, though he was a little nicer and more pleasant with the next few customers that came in. Overall, I decided that the customer service at other furniture stores went ABOVE and beyond and I would recommend ALL of them before this one. I definitely will not return.

We absolutely love Kelly at Zimmermans. She took time with us and didn't make us feel rushed, had so much knowledge about the furniture and got us high quality furniture at a great price! She went above and beyond; we havent had that high standard of customer service in so long, we were afraid it was extinct! We will do all our future shopping with her:) Love our sectional, and we are getting the rest of the furniture in November.

Not only did I receive AMAZING customer service from Nikki B. But also got a great deal on an amazing bedroom set!! I saved up for a while to purchase quality furniture, not junk. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, but took the time to go through MANY different options and was very patient with me! I will always make the 150 mile drive to buy from Zimmerman's!!!

I am very disappointed in the customer service and delivery service that Zimmermans Furniture has. I had received a call on 4-13-18 and said my order was in so we set up a date for that to be delivered for the 16th. I then inquired about a USB port that was ordered for a side table I have. When that was ordered I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks, it had been a month now and no response on it. Kris is the one who I was talking to about this, she said that the service person just walked by her desk, she will ask him about it and said she would call me right back. I did not get a return call. I was given a time window of 1-3 pm for the 16th. That would be great as I had a meeting to be at back at work at 3:30. I had to have someone cover me, that was inconviencing her. I received a phone at 3 and said they were on their way. It was now 3:40 and still nothing. I called the main store to find out what was taking so long. While on the phone with them the delivery people called me and said they had to go to the warehouse. It still took them another 10 minutes to arrive at my house. I am very very disappointed in how I was treated today, no one, especially a customer should be treated this way. I sure hope all of the customers don't get treated this way.
