I recently had an encounter with Walmart Auto Center that I think is worth sharing. My goal is not to disparage the establishment or its staff, but to provide an honest account of my experience, which may help others adjust their expectations when utilizing their services.1. Scheduling and Communication Issues: After ordering tires online and receiving notification of their arrival at the store, I scheduled an 11 AM appointment on a Tuesday, taking time off work to do so. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, the staff couldn't locate my tires and after 40 minutes of waiting, they promised to call me by the end of the day with an update. I had to initiate the follow-up call that evening, only to learn the tires were now actually at the store and that I could schedule another appointment. This miscommunication and the need for proactive follow-up on my part were the first signs of organizational challenges.2. Appointment Rescheduling: With a snowstorm approaching, I was keen on getting my tires changed promptly. The only available slots on Wednesday were 5 PM or 6 PM. I chose the 5 PM slot, despite the inconvenience it posed to my family routine with a wife and two young children.3. Service Delays: I arrived slightly early for my appointment and was under the impression, based on Walmart's website and conversations with employees, that the service would take about an hour. However, my car wasn't taken in until nearly 6 PM, essentially rendering my appointment time pointless. This delay impacted my evening significantly, as I couldn't join my family for dinner or be of help with the kids.4. Completion Time: My car was finally ready at 6:46 PM, cutting it close to the store's closing time of 7 PM. The cumulative effect of these issues was quite disheartening and frustrating.Pros:• The tires were affordable.• The tires seem to perform well on slick roads so far.• The majority of the employees were pleasant.Cons:• Inaccurate tracking information and scheduling inefficiencies.• Lack of proactive communication from the staff.• Service duration significantly exceeded the expected time.Lessons Learned: Reflecting on this experience, I realize that sometimes cost savings come with trade-offs. In the future, I would verify the physical presence of the tires at the store before scheduling any service. Also, I would plan for a longer service window, beyond what is initially communicated.In conclusion, while I appreciate the affordability of the tires and the courteousness of most staff, the overall customer experience was marred by organizational disarray and communication gaps. It's crucial for businesses to manage customer expectations effectively, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.Rating: Given the affordable pricing and the final product's satisfactory performance, balanced against the significant organizational and communication issues, I would rate my experience at 2.5 stars out of 5. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the Auto Center and helps prospective customers gauge their expectations.Service: Tires

Very lazy shop. A guy named Allen didn't call me and i just finally called 4 hours later just to find out they didn't put my new wheels on because the lug nuts need to be a different size. I bought new lig nuts and brought it again the next day. I was told they can't install because tire was slightly rubbing. Couldnt they have told me that on day one??? Huge waste of time with these idiots.

Would not recommend whatsoever. It took them three hours to tell me my tire was not repairable and then when they did put the new tire on it went flat within two weeks. Tried to blame it on weather. Horrendous. Not sure if it’s a faulty tire or faulty crew members but either way it’s ridiculous.Service: Tires

The Manager Here Is Amazing! He Helped Me Pick Out A Wiper Blade And Installed It.. Something Happened With A Previous Oil Change And He Took Care Of The Problem That It Caused NO QUESTIONS ASKED And Reimbursed Me For The One I Got! He Is Very Professional And Amazing To Deal With!
