While a Mustang is not an import, Chris did a fantastic job on my car. He got my car in and finished quickly, and within the timeframe promised. The price for the work was just as it was quoted before the job was started. I will definitely call upon him again, if I am in need of work on my car.

Towed my jetta in with weird symptoms and in limp mode. Chris said he would get to it soon, but never reached out with updates, I always had to call. After 6 weeks of no progress, I towed it to another shop. He's friendly and probably great for oil changes and basic maintenance, but if you have a complicated or time sensitive repair, go elsewhere. There were probably 30 cars outside, some of which had been sitting awhile.Service: Engine repair

Dropped off my car on a thursday afternoon to have possible bad battery checked. Gave my phone number to Chris. Came late Monday hadnt heard from him. Called him asking about a rough estimate for additional work while car was there. He never gave me the status of the battery issue. Said he would call back with additional work price and battery stayus. Came Wednesday had not heard about my car. I called multiple times on Wednesday and got a recording stating the number I am calling has a mail box thats full. I couldnt even speak to him. I had to actually drive there to find out what was going on with my car. He gave me some odd story about changing his location and hes having trouble with his telephone service. He said he lost my number and told me my car was ready and how much I owed him for battery. It was my 1st time there. Bad impression. Cars everywhere lining the street also. My usual mechanic always would give me a call, tell me what he found and how much it would be before fixing it. I wanted to try something new and give local business a try. Sorry I did. I would think as a 1st time customer especially, Chris could have taken my number and put it in his computer system. Rather than writing it on a small piece of paper that could and did get lost amongst the piles of paperwork and boxes and auto parts strewn about the floor that one can trip over. I wont take my car there again for that additional easy work. Probably wouldnt get my car back for another 5 days.

This place is awesome. If you have a VW or Audi it is well worth the schlep all the way out to Zebulon. Super knowledgeable and honest. He won't charge you for a repair you don't need or try to upsell you on something that might need fixing in a year. If that light will wait, he'll tell you. If a simple fix will work as well as a complex one, he will recommend the simple one. He doesn't have an assistant at the moment so you so sometimes have to wait your turn and I would recommend calling to confirm that the work is done. He loves working on all the cars and can sometimes forget to tell you he's finished. Four out of five for how far away it is.
