Dollar General is a great and awesome store, often described as a go-to store for many food products that can be found in larger stores but for less money, including some name brand products. It is very convenient for those who live nearby. The organization and store are typically kept good. However, the store has unfortunately been understaffed lately, with only two employees to be seen. This has led to a store filled with more unopened boxes than stocked merchandise, making items not easily found. The experience has not been as pleasant as before. Service is half and half; while some employees are really friendly and helpful, others can give a nasty attitude and be extremely rude to polite customers, with staff needing training in manners and etiquette. Maintenance issues are also a significant problem. The self-checkout has been offline for weeks and would be so helpful, and several of the refrigerators have been taped off because they are out of order. The store is understaffed and employees appear overworked, but this frustration should not be taken out on the customers.

At this particular DG is very convient bc I live 3 mins away. Organization and store kept good. Staff there needs a class where they train you with manners and etiquette. Other than that. DG is awesome‼️
