When the alternator went up on my 2006 Jaguar, I was looking for a replacement part so I could have replaced close to home because I couldn’t go very far before the battery would die, Braddy’s was very helpful even knowing that I wasn’t bringing the car to them. After the alternator was replaced, I found what sounded like a bearing wearing out , I remembered how helpful Braddy’s was so I called to see if they could help. The response was “ Bring it in when you can and we will get to it soon.” I took it the same day, and they had it done that week and even found another issue which they fixed. They also pointed out that the battery was old and getting weak, so they replaced it with a new one that was proper for my car. I believe that the pricing was competitive and work performed was excellent. I highly recommend Braddy’s if you require service on your English or European car.

We entrusted Linny and his team with repairing my Dad's 1976 Triumph TR6. It had been in storage for about 30 years and needed a complete restoration. All the repairs were very thorough and the paint job is amazing. Linny provided good communication on the progress of the restoration via photos and periodic check-ins.
It did take a while to get the car back but we are happy to support a local business and appreciate Linny's craftsmanship and attention to detail. It's running great and can now be enjoyed by three generations!

On November of 2021, I initially contacted Braddy's British Motor Works when my vehicle experienced a breakdown. After consulting with three different mechanic shops, including Land Rover of Wilmington, it was determined that my vehicle required a new engine due to a failed coolant system and a blown-out thermostat. Lenny at Braddy's assured me that he could rebuild the engine by machining the block to spec. I agreed to the repairs and paid a substantial bill totaling almost $10,000, expecting that my vehicle would be restored to a fully functional state.
However, I soon discovered that the repairs performed by Braddy's British Motor Works were not successful. I have had to return my vehicle to Braddy's British Motor Works three times due to the same coolant issue. The vehicle continued to leak coolant and failed to blow cold air. On each occasion, Lenny claimed to have replaced various parts, including hoses, and returned the vehicle to me. Unfortunately, shortly after the repairs, around New Year's of 2023, my vehicle began smoking and ultimately broke down. I had it towed to Land Rover in Wilmington, where it was determined that the coolant problem persisted and had caused irreparable damage to the engine. Land Rover recommended a complete engine replacement.
Upon informing Linny at Braddy's British Motor Works of the situation, he initially stated that the repairs were not covered under warranty. However, recognizing the importance of maintaining a good business reputation, he agreed to honor the warranty and search for a used engine. After five months, I thought a used engine was sourced and installed by Braddy's British Motor Works. During this time, I was provided after 2 months with a loaner vehicle to alleviate the inconvenience.
Regrettably, in late August 2023, my vehicle began displaying multiple warning lights, including a suspension fault and a check engine light after just getting the vehicle back in May 2023. When I contacted Linny to address the issue, he promptly informed me that there was no warranty on the used engine. Seeking an alternative solution, I consulted with other mechanics who confirmed that while they also install used engines, they consistently provide a warranty. As a result, I sought the expertise of Professional Auto Service in New Bern, NC, who ran a diagnostic test on my vehicle. They discovered an overwhelming amount of codes appearing on their diagnostic computer, rendering it impossible for them to proceed with any repairs. Sympathetic to my situation, Professional Auto Service waived the diagnostic fee.
After investing nearly $10,000 and enduring the inconvenience of an unreliable vehicle for two years, I firmly believe that Braddy's British Motor Works should assume responsibility for the consequences of their unsatisfactory repairs. I have taken it to Eurasian Automotive Center and Import Services both in Greenville NC. They both have indicated that it appears to them that a engine was not sourced but a damaged engined was placed in my Land Rover of which Linny of Braddy's British Motor works attempted to repair and failed. I need a suspension compressor, a timing belt which as indicated on the attached invoice was supposed to have been replaced, crankshaft bearings and a oil sprayer. The bill totaled over 8,000.00. The opinion is that they failed to fixed a damaged engine causing me a total since engaging Linny at Braddy's British Motor Works of almost 20,000.00. All invoices and pictures of the oil pan and damage crankshaft are included as so future customers of Braddy's British Motor Works can come to their own conclusion.
I do have all of the documentation to support my claim. Just wonder how your would feel spending another over 8k 3 months after you get your vehicle back thinking you had a good used engine installed. Instead your had a damaged one from their lot and as stated they installed a new timing chain and 3 mechanic

The service Braddy's performed for me is not listed: it was expert counsel and advice regarding my '78 MGB. I've been having significant cooling problems, had recently lost my prior mechanic, and was searching for someone to advise me about what to do next. From the moment I first contacted them, Isaiah was the first, they were organized, professional, and extremely helpful. Upon meeting I was then introduced to Vince, the mechanic primarily responsible for cars like mine. Vince spent nearly a 1/2 hour counselling me as to my issue, always patient and very informative. Along the way, another mechanic, Spider, confirmed what Vince was saying and was both friendly and helpful. Lastly, I met with Linny, the owner, who was gracious enough to show me around the shop and explain how they worked with customers. All in all, they gave freely of their time to someone they'd never met and who wasn't, at the time at least, paying for service. The entire team at Braddy's could not have been more helpful and I WILL be going back in the future. I highly recommend.Thank you Linny, Vince, Spider, and Isaiah for a terrific experience.

I got turned down from a few places because my paint was “too hard to match.” Braddy’s was ready and willing to take on the challenge, and they did a phenomenal job. They repaired the damage and matched the paint perfectly. They took their time, which I preferred instead of rushing the job. They were super easy to work with through some complications and were really professional. Even gave me a little bottle of touch-up paint to go. 10/10 service, I recommend them to anybody with a nicer car that they want to be taken care of.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Recently, I purchased my first Land Rover, in large part, because there was a highly rated independent repair shop close to my home. Lenny and his team have taken the time to explain any repairs needed, offer options if there are multiple repairs required, and are true professionals. There’s also a body shop and car detailing offered there. If you’re looking for a honest, knowledgeable, and friendly repair shop that can take care of your British automotive repair needs, look no further! Strongly recommend!
