Purchased 52 deck boards. Twenty-six of them were supposed to be 12 ft standard. That's what they charged me for initially. Gave the slip to the forklift driver and he brought me 26 premium on accident and didn't notice until the last one was loaded up. Then he proceeded to tell me that their inventory must have been wrong and they don't actually have standard. I had already been there for an hr at this point, and if they had noticed before all of them were loaded, I would have just gone to Lowe's. Instead, they had me wait another 20 minutes inside before telling me I had to pay an extra 160 for boards I didn't want. At this point, I had already spent too much time and had a crew waiting on site. So I feel like I was myembezzled a little bit. For $160. The forklift driver even said at one point I should charge my client for the extra cost. I responded with "that would be bad business" im not going to make my client pay for their mistake, nor should they make me. I've had great experiences here before, but cannot change my opinion until someone makes this right. Bad business practice imo.

We went to the Youngsville location to see what their pricing on lumber was as we were replacing our fence. The man at the counter was rude and dismissive to us saying to email them a list of what we were looking for and when/if he got time he would look it over and give us a quote. We were planning on purchasing a large amount of materials and wanted to see if their pricing was any better than the box stores but at least people are nice and ready and willing to help you at Home Depot and Lowes. I never heard back from the estimate I requested online.

I'm in the process of trying to order a replacement door for the front entry on my home. The staff at BMC has been very patient with me and has helped me get this order completed. The door has not been ordered yet but BMC right on top of getting the specs right with the contractor. I am extremely satisfied with the help I have been getting.
