Buyer Notice: they take price tags off MSRP original brand clothing price tags and put their own surf shop price tags at a higher amount, quick Google search as evidence of this... the store takes the time to remove each items clothing for this ? the workers must deal with a lot of shop lifting because they wouldn't stop walking around stalking the customers and keep asking over and over if they are okay... But not in a genuine way. The vibe here is not welcoming, friendly or honest and we left with no items and went to another chill shop down the street.

Sweetwater Surf Shop is located in the prime spot at Wrightsville Beach. They have all the surf apparel you will need. There is a large selection of Surfboards, Clothing and more. If you like local Merch, they have you covered. The staff is super friendly and always has provided me with excellent customer service. This Surf Shop is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.

A cute store with quality items. What makes me put one star was the white woman following me and my two friends around the store. It was very obvious she thought we were going to steal just because we were black, and it was very upsetting. Me and my friends didn't even have bags on us AND our hands were full holding plates of food. Plus, I didn't touch anything but a bracelet I was mildly interested in. She even had the nerve to wish us a good day as we left. Ridiculous to see in 2023 and in a place with so many tourists coming through. Be better.

I must say this is a one of a kind surf school. Totally different from the typical surf schools. My kids have learnt to surf perfectly under their safe hands. Thank you guys.

This was the best shop that I found on the beach. An old store front packed with quality surf gear. Plus skate boards, boogie boards, surf boards and roller skates. They also offer accessories skate boards. My daughter appreciated the brand named bikini tops that are pricey. Pretty much all you need for the beach can be found here. No 5th star with no offer for assistance.

My three kids and husband booked a one hour private lesson. They sent two instructors out to help them learn. The instructors were so kind and helpful! All three kids were able to get up and feel like they were hanging 10. My husband didn’t have such luck. ? Overall, we had a great time!

This is one of the best surf shops I have ever been in. No wonder why it has been here for so long. They have an amazing selection of clothes, shoes, boards, and so much more. The owner, manager and staff are great! I loved the whole store. I could have blown a whole paycheck in here. They are very knowledgeable and also had great sales going on.

Great customer service. I had purchased a watch from Sweetwater over the summer and needed to get a warranty repair done, but the manufacturer needed a proof of purchase. I emailed the shop and Shana helped me out right away. She responded quickly and got me my proof of purchase.Sweetwater is definitely the best surf shop in Wrightsville.
