Good place to shop and grab a few things if you're just starting out on your own. My other favorite place to shop.

Nice thrift store I tried to come on Fridays because it's half off clothing. Parking is a little small and sometimes you have to wait in line interesting selection of items Furnitures a little high price though

Much larger building than anticipated, and found that they offer first responders a discount on Tuesdays!
A portion of the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission's operating funds are generated from its 20,000 square foot Thrift Store. The store sells furniture, home decor items, exercise equipment, clothing, baby items, books, housewares and shoes among other things. Items are priced for the budget conscious, making the store a popular shopping stop for families of every age. The store's stock is completely made up of merchandise that is generously donated.
