I was in the drive thru line at 1:13 pm, behind one car. That car took FOREVER, and never even picked anything up. FINALLY I pulled up at 1:30 ( after waiting SEVENTEEN minutes in line! ) and they closed the window in my face, and said they were CLOSED and couldn't hand out prescriptions while they were on a break. No warning. No allowance that I had been waiting for almost 20 minutes!!!
So I went in and spoke to the store manager, and mentioned that this was the WORST customer service I had ever experienced. She said there was nothing she could do--- they couldn't put up a sign , or warn people in line that they would close right in your face. She said they couldn't even let people who had been waiting since before 1:30 know that they were out of luck exactly at 1:30. ( I wonder if they would stop right in the middle of the transaction if the clock struck 1:30???!)
I had suggestions-- 1) the car ahead of me should have been directed to park at the side while they figured out the problem, and the next car served quickly, and 2) they should notify and cut off the drive thru line a couple of minutes before 1:30 to allow them to serve the 1 or 2 in line at that point, and be able to close close to 1:30. As grocery stores, other retail stores, and even fast food stores do.
But she was unable to even imagine a better way to treat her customers.
There is no consideration at Walgreens pharmacy for their customers. Service is the worst of anyplace I've ever been. ( This was the Walgreens on Robinhood at Polo.)

This pharmacy is the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been a part of the pharmacist named Jill is a horrible person and she stops patients from getting their medicine. Even though there is no reason for it she will do everything possible to make it difficult for a patient to get their medication, she needs to be fired. I will be reporting this to corporate and having an investigation done on her.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just was put on generic adhd med (previously on a different adhd med) and there is a shortage. Been calling around to different Walgreens to see if they have in stock. Mind you, the other Walgreens locations said no if they had this in stock. I called this Walgreens and she only asked me for my name, no date of birth. I described the situation like I was, that I am switching adhd meds and calling around to see if it is in stock so I can transfer my prescription with my dr. One, she said she couldn’t tell me if they have in stock/in their inventory because it’s a controlled substance. Ummm excuse me? The previous Walgreens I have called advised me to call around and THEY SAID NO, they don’t have it in stock. Two, she didn’t listen to me and told me “we can’t transfer controlled substance prescriptions”… LADY, I KNOW THAT. THAT is why I am CALLING so I know which Walgreens for my doctor to send my prescription to!!! Three, I am also calling around because I don’t have enough on my current adhd med to last me for the work week, and trying to find a place so I can get my prescription there. Good Lord, I almost hung up on her I was so mad. Y’all don’t even deserve a 1 star review.

Chronically understaffed. I always have trouble with my prescriptions here. They just don’t even start on the prescriptions that are called in unless you physically go there. For example, I tried to pick up my prescription today which was called in yesterday around 4 (4 hours before closing). It still wasn’t ready this morning at 9, but they said oh give me 10 minutes and we’ll make it. This happens to me all the time. Their excuse is always that they have people out sick. Clearly they do not have a large enough employee base to function. I don’t necessarily blame the pharmacists, but Walgreens as a company is clearly mismanaging this location.

Transferred prescriptions from CVS due to new insurance. Walgreens refilled Eliquis not needed, but only gave me 5 pills and charged me $59 without running it through my insurance. I was told it was a 90 day refill at pick up. Called them and they admitted mistake but would do nothing to rectify it. I was appalled and told them they made the mistake, so they should make it right. I dealt with CVS for years with no problems. I wish my insurance didn’t force me to change to Walgreens. Avoid the Robinhood location at any cost. I’ve had to go there four times this week for the transition, and now this is my first experience getting a prescription fillled. Totally Incompetent staff that does not stand behind their work and not at all customer focused. Use this Robinhood Road location at your own peril!

if you’re pulling up to drive thru pharmacy, be prepared to sit at least 20 minutes, usually more.& no matter how long it’s been since your dr sent in script, they will always tell you “looks like it’s not ready yet” the first time you come in to pick up your script.don’t waste any effort putting scripts on auto refill, because it’s the same schtick.

You can NEVER get through on the phone! They need a much better system in place! No excuse to be on hold for over an hour without one person answering!

Special shout out to Tara and Jacinda, 2 pharmacy techs that helped and will continue to help me navigate the absolute hell of workers comp insurance going through to pay for my medications. They spent over an hour each calling different numbers when workers comp insurance was making it nearly impossible to get what I needed paid for. Despite me spending my entire weekend trying to get medications I desperately needed, their compassion and not giving up attitude made it bearable. Just showing they cared about my suffering made the last 5 months of hell better. I imagine this job is stressful with angry customers I witnessed pass by who are frustrated by the red tape the techs have no control over. They continue to remain compassionate and try their best when they could easily give up and give in to the pressure of long lines and frustrating customers. I recommend this pharmacy if you want techs that try so hard to provide the care you deserve even when it’s difficult! I’m so glad I switched from CVS to this one.

Wish i could give zero stars. They never answer the phone. Stayed on hold for 30 min and 45 min and was disconnected. My doctors office sends prescription but the pharmacy doesn’t even acknowledge receiving them, so they don’t fill them unless i actually speak to someone there and ask if they’ve gotten the rx…and even then they say ok we will fill it but never end up filling it!!!! Take ur business anywhere else, have never seen such a garbage pharmacy. And this is after being a prescriber myself and i don’t send any prescriptions here anymore.

Worst pharmacy ever. They do not fill what they are supposed to and run your insurance wrong trying to charge $200 more than intended! Please DO NOTuse there are so many other that are better! Harris Teeter on Cloverdale is my recommendation!

If I could give 0 stars to the pharmacy I would. They continuously mess up prescriptions. I had to go back 3 times because of their mistake and they kept sending me to the back of the line.

The efficiency of late (pharmacy) has really gone down hill the past several weeks. IDK what has happened but nothing is ready in any timely fashion.
