I mainly use this pharmacy (which is open 24/7) because I tend to go to the pharmacy at hours that the other Walgreens are closed. The pharmacy employees have worked very hard on multiple occasions to resolve complicated issues with my prescriptions and are willing to help with searching for and applying discount cards. There is a pharmacist who works nights there that is particularly friendly and helpful. He tends to make my day better at a time when I'm not feeling well (and thus need to pick up prescriptions in the middle of the night). I just really appreciate having any store that is open 24/7 that I can shop at, due to my work schedule, especially because it's almost always pretty dead at night. The experience is 10/10 between about 10pm and 4am when I've been.
The busiest time for picking up prescriptions that I have experienced is between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. I'd recommend to just not go at all during this period and come back later because the wait time is pretty long. I also recommend vigilance when in the parking lot at night because there are some people who hang around in the parking lot that you might need to watch out.

I waited over 20 minutes behind the car at the window being helped. I pulled up and the pregnant woman told me that mine was being finished. I couldn't wait until they finished my almost finished meds. She told me to park around front for 15 minutes then come back around. I asked her why I couldn't wait, there was no one behind me. There was a person on the otherlane that was allowed to wait, but I was told again to park in the front for 15 minutes. They took care of 4 other cars; 2 on each side before they would finish my. The pregnant woman was extremely rude, and disrespectful. After waiting and then pulling back around, another woman said she was the one that told me to pull around, a straight up lie! I waited and they finally 40 minutes later gave me my meds. I asked for her store number but she refused to answer and left me sitting there while she ignored me and talked to the other car.
If you want discrimination, insults, and a ugly personality person to take care of you, go to the Walgreens on Cloverdale Avenue in Winston salem.
I had to leave 1 star to explain the situation.
If Walgreens customer service reads this would love a call or text.

Obviously I do not blame the pharmacist for the nationwide shortage of ADHD meds. However, her demeanor is a different story. I can’t tell you her name as she didn’t give it, I had to ask the same question three different ways just to find out if the medication was on back order. She had no empathy for patients and shouldn’t be people-facing.

I have been using this pharmacy for years simply because they are closest to my home and open 24/7, however, I have also been extremely disappointed in the service provided. Pickup for prescriptions, unless done in the early mornings before 7:00 AM, takes no less than 20 minutes and usually longer. I’m just day I arrived at 10:00 AM and it is now 10:26 AM and I’m still waiting.
I’m not sure what the issues are here but they’ve been ongoing for years and other Walgreens seem to be fine.

Likely the most unorganized and intrained employees of any pharmacy. Line of 10 customers needing assistance for Rx. Only 1 person is waiting on customers. 1 employee is doing another task of checking bins. This is a daily task. It seems more efficient to work the customer line. The 2 behind counter chat with each other about how busy they are.

It takes forever to get connected on the phone and get prescriptions ready. But the staff at pharmacy are very professional and very kind.

This Walgreens is ridiculous when you go in there to shop but need to go to the bathroom at night they have it closed from 10pm-7am. Like what the hell?!? People should be allowed to go to the bathroom if they need to. Not everyone steals. Some of us actually have to go to the bathroom. This is the worst rule ever and needs to be changed. Do you do that to your employees too? Telling them the bathroom is closed 10p-7a? Come on and get a grip. You are pathetic store

Belive every review you read! Terrible, unprofessional, and rude service that takes forever to be completed. It never should take this long, and even when it does some simple acknowledgement or an apology would be nice.
Walgreens Pharmacy Takes an Eternity!
I'm at the end of my rope with Walgreens pharmacy. Every single visit feels like a marathon. It doesn't matter if I'm the only one in line or if there's a crowd – the wait is always excruciating.
The other day, I needed a simple mouthwash, and it took over an hour. An hour! I watched the clock tick by, my anxiety rising with each minute as my partner waited at home. It's infuriating because her health shouldn't be held hostage by their inefficiency.
I get that pharmacy work is complex, but this is ridiculous. It makes me want to scream and reminds me why we switched away from this horrendous excuse. switching pharmacies. How corporate has allowed so many of the same experiences, and reviews, and this pattern to continue is beyond me. Walgreens, please, please get it together!

This pharmacy is extremely unhelpful. I was told different information by three different people and they had the nerve to say that I was confused. If you can avoid it, DO NOT GO HERE.

Our prescriptions were called in at 5:30 pm and weren't ready 4 hours later at 9:30 pm. My husband was discharged from the hospital with the understanding that he would have access to these meds. The extended wait basically undid everything we spent days working on at the hospital. The employees in the pharmacy area have no compassion and are extremely rude when they speak to you. They don't care at all. One basically said she was too busy to input the prescriptions manually and they would get to it when they got to it. Ridiculous.

I was told the wait time for my medicine was 30-40 mins. I decided to come back after an hour had past and my medicine was still not ready. I did not make it a big deal and decided to wait in the sitting area. Another 45-50 minute had past by only to find out my medicine was done 30 minutes ago. The lady at the desk did not let me know it was done until I went up to check again with another lady where she proceeded to let her know that my medicine was in a waiting bin.

I had to get my medication for sleep filled here last minute. I usually use CVS because it's closer to the house, but they were closed and I was out of my Rx.
I had my Rx called in and picked up at the drive thru, all within 10 minutes. The pharmacist, not sure of her name, a tall black female, was so friendly and helpful. I will be switching pharmacies. Thank you!
