Recently rented an auger from this location and we ended up receiving a drill that was broken at the end (we didn't realize before we left) and it was no easier digging the hole with this thing than it was by hand, so it was completely pointless. We came back and checked out the other drills and that's when we noticed the discrepancy. We informed the guy there who didn't bother to offer any money back for them renting out faulty equipment. Didn't even seem care. Oh, and the first engine they tried to give us was leaking gas, and they did give us another one, but put the leaky one back on the shelf for the next unsuspecting customer.I'll never rent from them again. Do yourself a favor and find a locally owned rental company. They will most likely give you a quality product at a much lower price.

Great customer service! This is now our "go-to" store as they understand the word "empathy" (and we don't live in the area). I had delivery issues with some items I ordered from another HD store. Long story short, the staff at Winston Salem store took care of me right away as they understood the situation and was compensated for the problems I've been through. Their staff were kind and sympathizes with you, and their manager, Ryan, was professional and took care of my problem right away. He understood the value of making your customers happy, for possible "repeat" customers for the future. Thank you all!

I bought a John Deere zero-turn riding mower that came in this week and had a big surprise following my initial inspection after delivery which, which along with other recent issues I had with delayed orders several times, made me rethink my good opinion of HD. They also WILL NOT POST MY REVIEW ON THEIR PRODUCT PAGE. I wrote it 3 times this week and I can see reviews 4 days newer than mine but mine won't show. So, BEWARE THAT HOME DEPOT PRODUCT REVIEWS ARE CENSORED/MANIPULATED!So, that being the case, I am posting my experience here: The tractor was delivered dirty, with several scratches and scuffs, rust, the decal along left side peeling out, but worst of all was the water found in the engine crankcase -mixed in the oil, which prompted to immediately have the oil and filter changed. And it was a lot judging by the thin consistency of the white-gray murky liquid seen splattering and foaming during oil change.I can't possibly understand how/when that happened, was it at Kawasaki, John Deere or Home Depot during preparation or storage, or who knows...-it also had almost 3 hrs run time on board at delivery. I really hope that no permanent damage was done to the engine. I have also informed John Deere and Kawasaki so that they know how their sales partner handles their product because they will be responsible to cover warranty claims due to perhaps no fault of their own. The response from all 3 was useless and underwhelming, so I doubt that any action will be taken.I must admit that I've always preferred Home Depot over Lowes which is closer to our house, but they have recently kept offering me reasons to the contrary on several occasions (delayed order deliveries, . This time they have topped the chart in a way I couldn't have imagined, and WE ARE VERY, VERY DISSAPOINTED (the machine came from HD store #3610 in Winston-Salem on Hanes Mall Blvd).Come on folks, really, when a customer pays over $4000 for a brand-new item at your store, you need to pay attention and be more careful to do your job properly.

I needed a trailer and this is where we were able to get it. Nice employees helped with hook up and unhooking.

Rented 35' towable boom for a day. The machine did not act right from the get go. Movements would recognize about half the time first hour of use. Able to get about half wall done (Painting) solenoid for lowering function fails. My other painter is in the bucket (with the manual) 25' feet in air in the blazing sun. Took calling 5 times at 2pm to get a person on the phone at the store. Once I get to talk to a person...I explain the situation and asked where the override is so I can get her down. He said "manual should be chained to to machine " I explained the manual is in the air in the basket. He then gives me an 888 number and the hold time is 60 minutes!! We finally found the override and got her down......the best part of the story....The worker that checked the equipment back in said that solenoid has been replaced 3 times already. I have plenty more work that I need a lift for and will not go this route again!!!

Great customer service at The Home Depot on Hanes Mall Blvd in Winston-Salem! This store has a remarkable number of employees, all of whom were friendly, courteous, and ready to help. The store is well-stocked, and it was easy to find what I needed.

Most horrible experience I've ever had at all Home Depot's worldwide. Pro service manager and paint staff were extremely rude and dismissive

I know, I know - Home Depot is Home Depot but this location is AWESOME. We recently moved into a home in the area so we've been living in this Home Depot location as we partake in all the projects. From the garden department to the tools, everyone is amazing. The staff is super responsive, kind, and willing to help answer any of your questions.

They have 0 customer service skills! Placed an online order that was supposed to be at the store in 3-7 days……3 weeks later and they only can find 1 of 2 boxes they received. No one even offered to research it, just shrugged and left me to try to figure it out. Extremely disappointed on my 1st and last time ordering!

Do not purchase from Home Depot. A leak developed after a faulty installation of a dishwasher. I have two statements from other contractors that say the damage was due to improper installation by the subcontractors from Home Depot. Home Ddpot refuses to pay for the repairs.
