I visited the Winston Salem store to look into selling a couple of pairs of shoes. I ended up purchasing a few things while I was there. Sydney was nice and super helpful, showing me where to find things and taking things to a dressing room so I didn't have to lug them around the store. Meeghan was also very nice at the register. Customer service here is top notch!

They rob you blind. You sell them name brand items in good condition and they give you pennies for it and sell it for triple, quadruple if not more than what you sold it to them for. Posh Mark is the way to go or Facebook Market. They also price some items higher than they should. The purses and wallets are highly over priced. I can get most of my Coach & Dooney & Burke purses brand new online for less than what they are selling them for. Lesson learned keep your items or sell some place else. Rip offs!

Negative from what I just experienced I was told they took mens clothes now and I'm happy they exposed themselves.I took a few clothes and shoes to see what they would say let's just say I took them a few items in packages (still obviously brand new) they opened and offered less than 10 for 2 Ralph Lauren polo tees thanks for nothing all name brand clothes even Versace tees I can tell what crowd they are for.......

This used to be my go to for gently used name brand clothing and was a gem for plus size fashion. Over the past two years it is pretty much become all second hand Shein items. And Shein runs so small, they even put a disclaimer about it on their own website, but Style Encore still organizes the Shein clothes with plus size even though they're not. I am a 38 bust line and the 2x in shein clothes will not fit me, anyone who has bought from Shein knows what I'm talking about.All the designer brands they used to carry (except the handbags) have disappeared. I don't mind paying $25-30 for a cute Ralph Lauren dress from a few season ago, but $25 for a Shein dress, yikes. I bought a Christian Siriano sweater there 2 years ago for around $20, and there is no chance of finding anything like that now. Sad because before they expanded they were AMAZING.

Place is clean and the staff was nice. I think it’s better to purchase here than to sell here. I took in two bins and had a 4 hr wait, crazy thing is I went early and there were staff hanging out. You are able to leave and comeback but I was on the other side of town so was a bit frustrated when they didn’t get to it at least within 2hrs ?

I am not even going to tell this entire deal so … we called guys 7 hours prior to closing to ask when they stop buying clothing (also stated we were coming in over an hour away), to my surprise I’m told they buy just minutes to closing so I ask again to be sure bc I find this awesome! Twice I was told “as long as your in store by 8pm we’ll take” I also state I have 2 large bags she says no problem,so I arrive at 738…before even getting in the door women says she’s not going to have time to go through both bags,I calmly say ok just do what you can (without mentioning I called) LITERALLY the doors are now closing she calls my name just to say I DIDN’T GO THROUGH ANYTHING BRING BACK TOMORROW!?! as far as selling, never go dependent on their word as it’s nothing and one’s word in life is their rep so not to throw shade but….hmmm

It's good if you're just looking to shop. If you're looking to sell to them it's a complete waste of time. They won't buy your items because they're "out of style" when you just purchased them from the store 3 months ago.

Amazing place! I've told friends that its right beside Krispy Kreme but less fattening! Or should we say that makes it more convenient? The staff is the FRIENDLIEST AND MOST HELPFUL! These ladies put the service in their personable customer service, maintain a great relationship and I can't remember the last time I've felt so bonded to a staff. They're great, oh!- and let me not forget their BEAUTIFUL stylish clothing! This is on my 5 star list!

went here after a bad experience at plato’s and it took them less than 5 minutes! definitely will be coming here more often. 110% better alternative to plato’s closet if you are looking to resell your clothes. shoutout to the style encore team y'all are amazing!

I had a wonderful first time experience at Style Encore. All of the girls working were so incredibly helpful and friendly. When I brought items in, I was walked through the entire process. I was impressed with how quickly, yet thoroughly, they went through my items. As I browsed the store, another associate started a fitting room for me. They offered me cash on the spot which is a huge bonus but I bought a few new clothing items home with me too! All around a great experience and I will definitely be back.

A great place for affordable secondhand clothing! I have always had good experiences here both buying and selling. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I always look forward to seeing Sarah when I come in to the store!
