I had the worst haircut of my life, I’m not being dramatic when I say that a child could have done better. The cut was uneven, I was left a rat tail in the back, I told her I didn’t want a sweeping bob multiple times, and had to correct her symmetry for cutting as well. Is Ashley even a real stylist? I would NOT recommend her to ANYONE. She even said, “well it’s not exactly what I was going for but you get the gist”. She acted weird after she was “done” and ran out, it’s like she knew she butchered my cut.

I called Strands after I had an appointment with another salon got cancelled. I'm going to my son's basic training graduation next week, so I needed my hair done immediately. I saw Ashley for highlights and a hair cut. She was awesome. Her consultation was very in depth which was great because I was new to her. She took her time at every step to make sure I got what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable about products that would work for my hair. To make things even better, the cost for services, tip, and two products was less than what the color would have been at the other salon. Great experience!

disappointed with the atmosphere. had i walked in prior to booking i would not have selected this establishment. my stylist did an okay job. no harm no foul but don't plan on going back. expensive for the lack of extras and ambiance.

My first time at Strands Salon was amazing so of course I was returning. The gentleman that did my hair last time wasn't available and with some important events coming up in my life my grays needed a cover, refresh on my highlights and my clean Bob needed about an inch cut off, so I went ahead with a different stylist. Well I walked out with the worst butchered haircut I think I've ever had in my life. My pretty blonde highlights I had are now a bright gold orange and the stylist called it like a baylage which isn't what I asked for. I've cried and cried and with butchered so short ( about 3 inches off back look like I took scissors myself to it and played chopping game) and brassy hair I'll have to find a place to fix because I will never be returning to Strands. It can't really be fixed because my hair is literally so short I can't even use my round brush on it. I walked out of the salon and felt like a complete disaster. Hair is so important to me and I will pay whatever the amount to have healthy looking beautiful hair. I'm writing this just warning anyone going there to stop your stylist if you are worried. I should've spoke up when she was chopping away because I had a feeling it was going to be awful. I've never cried over my hair before but I guess first time for everything. I gave three stars because people are nice, it's clean and I did get a awesome cut by a previous stylist there and the stylist that did my hair was nice but maybe didn't understand my interpretation of a clean bob.

Matthew was amazing!!!! He sat down with me and took the time to listen to what I wanted and talk through different options. He explained everything so well and really knows what he’s doing! Matthew was hands down the best stylist I have ever used. He took the time to go over my haircut and explained what would work best for my hair type and facial structure. Steve did such a wonderful job on my hair. I am SO happy with the results... especially considering that I had no idea what I wanted. I can't wait to come back for some color. I just wanted to share my experience I had today. It was wonderful! I see Robin For all my waxing needs and she is just so amazing, and makes you feel so comfortable. On a whim I wanted to get my hair done today and I was seen by Matthew. I just want to say it was incredible. From the moment I sat in his chair I got good vibes and he gave my severely dry hair some love and a confidence boost today. In todays society it’s so easy to be hard ourselves and I left the salon today feeling worthy plus looking great. 10/10 recommend the salon/spa and it’s just really nice to treat yourself.Services: Haircut
