Shattalon Tire and Automotive are a group of great mechanics I am really appreciative of thier knowledge feedback and help! I have older vehicles I only trust a few mechanic shops with the safety of my daughter and the other drivers I encounter on the road and just like Mt Airy Tire and Automotive , Shattalon Tire and Automotive makes the cut they are a very hardworking group of Mechanics very trustworthy and knowledgeable! Great prices fast service and dependable work they put an entire coolant system into my 1984 Camaro Z28 all except for a new thermostat because as they expresses if it isn't broke don't fix it and the truth is my cars temperature doesn't go above 190 and I'm pretty sure that's the temperature my 1984 CamaroZ28 thermostat is supposed to have. I called them with an emergency I woke up one morning and realized my radiator was cracked so they ordered the radiator then realized the water pump was old and leaky and was able to order a new one that day and get me back on the road they suggested new hoses because the previous owner had chrome hoses as he was using it as a show car and not a daily driver and also a reservoir tank because my old one was leaking coolant and not reliable they was able to do all of this work in a few hours time and priced the repair very reasonable and will always recommend their Mechanics shop to people who value the safety of themselves and others!

I was taken for granted because I was a female. My vehicle was supportively diagnosed with one problem and had to spend over $1,000 dollars for service. Then the car was doing the same thing. Brought it back and they said it was something else. I was charged an additional amount. Drove it away again and it did the same thing. I refused to take it back because I was only paying for something that did not pertain to fixing my car. Had it diagnosed by another mechanic and they verified that the parts Iwere put on but that was not the problem. It was found that the the car needed a new engine. This company supposed to be a reputable company and you mean to tell me that they didn’t know this. They just got over. Please don’t take your car to Shattalon. I sat and watched them tell women that their problems were worst than they brought it in for. Charging outrageous prices. I’m done with them. Never will any of our family members take our cars there. Is there any honest mechanics out there! Jesus help us!!!!

We have been coming to Shattalon Tire and Automotive for over 25 years. I tell any friend looking for a mechanic they should go to Shattalon. These guys know their stuff. They kept my Suburban running smoothly on the road for 10 years. For the past five years I have owned a Highlander, they have made maintenance reliable and affordable. We cannot say enough about the service we have received.

Shattalon Tire is one of the best auto repair service you will find in the Winston Salem area. These guys are very honest with their service. I send all my customers to them, since I don't do heavy mechanical job. I promise you, you won't regret your first service with Shattalon tire & Automotive. Great people, great service, and excellent customer service.

We have taken our cars here for service for over 30 years and have been very satisfied with their service! Whenever I have an emergency issue they say come right over and we'll take care of it. I've always been grateful for their attentive care and honesty.

You thought I wouldn't complain about the bad work and the theft you do to clients, you don't deserve any stars. I entrusted them with my car for a tire change and they ruined two wheels of my car, now my car every time I drive on the road the steering wheel shakes, Another thing, I went for an oil change in my car and in the end they ruined the hydraulic gas support on the hood of my car. I presented my complaint in writing for the damage to my vehicle, they did not accept the damage they caused, the employee did not want to sign the document that I presented to them but I do have the recording of the treatment and the poor service they offer; Since I am a woman, the employee treated me like I was stupid because I don't know anything about mechanics. For years I have changed the oil in my vehicle and rotated the tires. I am the daughter of a mechanic. My dad was industrial and automotive mechanic; This is a call to all those who want to take their vehicle to this establishment, so that the same thing as me does not happen to them, they are thieves, they make customers believe that they fix the problem with the vehicle and ruin other parts. I regret a thousand times having taken my vehicles to this establishment, they do not know how to do the job well and can put people's lives at risk.

I'm a retired mechanic and ran over a curb so I had to get an alignment. Not only did they charge a fair price, did the work in a timely manner, and now the car drives great! I hope I don't hit more curbs but if I do, I know where I'll go.

I am beyond upset with this establishment. I set up to have two tires replaced today and the car was incredibly dangerous to drive home. The tires were not weighted or balanced and one of the tires was overfilled by 10 psi. I was told tire installation could be done in 30 minutes. Trust me, I know when a place is slammed, but it took double the time that was mentioned to me so I was late getting back to work and I had to cancel my trip this weekend and set up a different appointment somewhere else to have the tires weighted/balanced. I had a good experience here about a year ago but this place is negligent and will put you in a dangerous situation. Buyer beware!
