If I could give less than one star I would. The website advertises 24 hr towing. I was stranded on the side of the highway for over 2 hours desperately trying to get a tow truck and these "fine people" couldn't be bothered to answer the phone. Thanks for nothing! Don't waste your time!!!

I recently had a breakdown on the side of the road and called Parkway Towing for assistance. The dispatcher was friendly and helpful, and the tow truck driver arrived within 20 minutes. He quickly assessed the situation and went to work securing my vehicle. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed of what he was doing and answered all of my questions. When we arrived at the repair shop, he even helped me unload my vehicle and gave me some advice on what to do next. I had an excellent experience with Parkway Towing. Recently, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere, and I was completely stranded. I called Parkway Towing, and they sent a truck to my location within minutes. The driver was friendly and professional, and he quickly got my car loaded onto the truck and transported it to the nearest mechanic. I recently had to tow my vintage car to a restoration shop, and I was nervous about entrusting it to just any towing company. After doing some research, I decided to go with Parkway Towing, and I am so glad I did. The driver who helped me was a car enthusiast himself and was very careful and attentive when loading and unloading my car. His rates were also very reasonable, especially considering the extra care he took. I felt like my car was in good hands throughout the entire process. Do NOT get these guys they are a SCAM they ask for payment and the moment you pay them they ask for more money and then if you ask for a refund they want to charge you for a refund and then if you say no to not paying the refund fee they get rude and then hang up. Saturday tow....I'm not sure how to rank this. I called parkway towing and got some kind of hub for tow trucks. Wasn't very pleased with the outcome. I got a very expensive bill and it took forever!

Don't use this company. They charge you three times the normal rate. They don't charge by miles. They just give you a high price outsource to a third party. Then can't even explain the process and specifics of their outrageous highway robbery . The reps and answering service are unprofessional . Instead of explaining and helping their customer understand the rates they scream and argue with finger pointing. Never go to them in your life. A Parkway Tow truck was trying to enter the Service parking lot by the Lawrence Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC around 5:45 PM on August 30, 2019 during game day traffic (football game). Our son was driving our car, sitting in a line of traffic behind the tow truck, waiting to enter the same lot. Three of our son’s Wake Forest University basketball teammates were in the car with him. The Parkway tow truck driver proceeded to back into our car and never got out of his truck to see the damage. He simply pulled the truck up, backed up again, rolled down his window told our son to meet him nearly 1/2 mile away (at a location no one knew) and left the scene of the accident (along with the dumbfounded witnesses). The parking lot attendant also witnessed the accident. The driver could have easily pulled into the nearly empty parking lot at the scene of the accident. By the time our son found the Parkway Tow truck nearly 20 minutes later, on the far side of BB&T field, the Parkway Towing driver, Mr. Shelby, had the police at that location, well away from the scene and witnesses, and told the officer that our son was at fault. Mr. Shelby also claimed that Nationwide Insurance covered Parkway Towing Company. Nationwide has since informed us that they have not covered Parkway Towing since 2016!Avoid Parkway Towing!,,, If they hit your car, get photos of their truck and driver before they flee the scene. You won’t have much time to do so.The useless and indifferent Winston-Salem Police Officer said “let the insurance companies work it out” and never bothered to talk to any of the independent witnesses. When we called the next business day, the police officer told me and my wife that he did not want us to think he did “sloppy” police work and would talk to his supervisor about what to do... and that’s the last we have heard from Officer “B.”
