We love going here. They always have the best meat available. If you want something other than what is in the case just ask and they will cut what you want. Ground beef fresh daily. Sausage and bacon are awesome also. Give them a try.

I've passed by this place hundreds of times and never paid attention. I'm travelling too fast to really pay attention to the small sign and even though, this is a road where one is likely to get stuck behind a tractor - it's traveled so little that it's easy to pass. When typing "butcher shop near me" into Google, this place popped up. When asking locals about it, they would say things like it's not anything we can't find at Whole Foods or Publix. Mind you, Publix is 18-miles from me and Whole Foods is 25-miles from me. This place is two roads away from me.The prices are also less than regular prices at other places, but a little higher than when something is on sale. I did notice they have a clearance section - and those prices are lower than the prices elsewhere.It's a rather small place, but this is what is expected for the area.Sure, I could go to either Lexington or Thomasville city proper - but that is still 4x the distance from this place to my house.Well Done! A Rare find.Like Arnold, I'll be back.

Came back in to pick up a pork butt, a goat, and some bacon. Olde World really can get just about anything you need, some of it takes ordering, but there is nothing wrong with that.The service is always great, and it's nice to have a place to get a variety of meats.Only downside is that the goat came from Australia.... but I guess local goateries aren't abundant? (Mmmmm-mmmm goat!)

Wonderful meats at good prices. Much better than a grocery store. We are fond of the ground sausage. Reminds us of Nifong’s that used to be available in the area. Very lean and just the right amount of spice.
