While their staff is quite kind to the customers, it is their outlandish prices that kept me from purchasing ANYthing up in there. Last time I checked, pawn shop prices remained competitive to actual department stores... but not at NC Gold & Pawn! You might as well buy brand new at a major store where you'll also get a warranty for your purchases because why would someone buy something at market price inside of a pawn shop and NOT be able to return it if it falters or (worse) breaks on you?

Pawn shops get a bad reputation and this location is the prime example why! Lowest offers in town! Go down the street to Long’s Pawn & Jewelry, thank me later! But this place & staff SUCKS!

Oh my Wow!!!! I love the guys at NC Pawn!!! I ordered on Wish and the site gave me a 15 day window to pick up my items, but canceled my order way before the time given. Calvin (I think that’s his name) went OVER AND BEYOND for me and found my package through a sea of blind orders. Don’t shop at Wish people! But if you do and it happens to be sent to NC Pawn shop, you can count on the friendly service and help you need. THANK YOU GUYS AT NC PAWN!! YOU ROCK SO HARD!! ❤️

My new haven. McKay's use to be my space for movies but I see myself walking an hour tomorrow -- easier to walk than take the bus -- because I didn't have time to look through the wide collection they have.
