I had a nightmare with my newer Samsung washer and dryer I purchased at Lowes, they were no help and I am still dealing with Samsung regarding having them replaced. Just prior to the machines breaking I had purchased 2 pedestals for over $500 for them, I tried returning them and was told I only had 48 hours after the purchase to return them, a woman in appliances (Lori) appeared to have attempted to help me and said she would have a manager call me in a short while, after a week or so I went back into the store and told her no one called me. She went in the back and came out and said the manager was on break and would call me (again), no one called.
This occurred a third time where she assured me she would have a manager call me, again, like in the past no one called.
I finally decided to contact the Lowes Customer Care number, the lady was fantastic and even contacted Samsung and was able to obtain a return authorization number for me to return them for a full refund.
Maybe Customer Care can train store associates like Lori and the appliance manager so they can perform their jobs at a satisfactory level (at a minimum).
P.S. I now shop at Home Depot where the associates actually do their jobs.

**revised 6/18/24 bought several Shasta Daisies from their clearance rack. Brought them home, watered them and they are coming back to life. Good that they sell them rather than throw them away!**
**revised 4/15/24. Bought baseboard, had Lowes associate cut for two different pieces needed at home. They fit perfectly! Very well pleased**
** 11/23/23 revised. Needed to return an item without a receipt. They would not even give a store credit. It cost less than $10 but I still hate losing my money. It was purchased there, it's still an item they stock, but none of that matters. If you pay cash for ANYTHING at Lowe's you better keep your receipt! Customer satisfaction is definitely not near the top of their list of priorities. *** Only issue, seems like they are always moving things around. Saw the overhead sign that said cleaning supplies. Went up and down two isles, cleaning supplies were not there. Finally found them at the front of the store.

If you’re planning on using Lowe’s on Hanes Mall Blvd to buy and install new flooring, please be prepared for the job to take anywhere between 2 weeks to 3 months. I paid for the materials and labor to install floors in two rooms of my house on March 20 it is now June 7th, and the job is still not finished.
On the original install date April 9, the installer from Legacy let me know I had picked out the wrong shade of flooring to match existing flooring in my home, so I’ll take the L on that. However, the process of Lowe’s coming back to my home to pick up the returned flooring, purchasing a replacement flooring, delivering the replacement and other needed items to complete the job has taken about 2 months (and still counting). Mind you during this time I have had no floors in my living room and kitchen, just tarp covering subfloor, as on the original install day, all the floors were ripped up first thing.
Finally, after exchanging and receiving the correct flooring, an installer from Legacy Flooring arrived on May 20th to install everything, only to discover I did not have the necessary transitions and other supplies delivered to my home to totally finish. I have called Lowe’s and Legacy multiple times to ensure I had everything I needed to finish the job prior to that most recent installation date on and was assured that I did. The installer did all the work he could and then a special order was placed for the missing items.
Fast forward to today installer from Legacy returns to my home today June 7 to finish the job, only to discover that the special ordered transitions that took 2 weeks to arrive are not the correct materials. So now we wait again for the correct items to be ordered and delivered, and then oh yeah, have to wait for availability for the installer to come back out. I’ve have condensed this experience to a short 4 paragraph review, but the amount of times I have called Lowe’s and visited the store to monitor that items have been shipped/ordered is insane. I understand mistakes are made and stores are short staffed, but I have yet to hear an apology from anyone at Lowe’s regarding their order/shipping errors.

What started as a pleasant experience with LL Flooring ended as a nightmare with Lowes on Hanes Mall in Winston Salem North Carolina. LL Flooring was highly recommended by many neighbors in my development for the great products and fantastic customer service. I must agree in iteracting with the staff at the University Parkway location I quickly learned they are customer-centered. The only issue I faced was not finding a floor color that I could say I “Loved”!. So I headed to Home Depot and then Lowes. Lowes had the exact floor I was looking floor in their Claremont collection. After speaking with an associate in flooring ( for 2 hours) we were led to believe that they would apply a discount that exceeded my husband's 10% military discount. We were specifically told the discount would be ATLEAST 18% off, so we gave Lowes our business. We were encouraged to apply for a store credit card for additional savings “Pro Business Card” so we did! Once the total was calculated it was clear we did not receive no wear near 18% off as promised, yet not even 10%. It was more like 6% savings. Nevertheless, I loved the color of the Claremont floor so much that we reluctantly decided to move forward. In addition we added a carpet installation. There were so many things that went wrong with this transaction we lost count. After the order was I placed I noticed the agent chose the incorrect color for the carpet to be installed. I called the store and had it changed. During the week of the installation I called Legacy flooring (Lowe’s preferred installers) to confirm the correct carpet color would be installed. Individuals at Lowes and Legacy Flooring confirmed twice over that the installers would be bringing the correct carpet color. When the installers arrived I met them at the door to confirm prior to entering my home. Yep you guessed it, the Wrong Color! The installer confirmed he was never told anything about the color mix-up and was not informed to swap the incorret color ordered by the sales rep at Lowes. He also said he had another job to do so he would not be able to go swap it out and come back. We called Legacy Flooring and was told that the installer said we were not ready to have the carpet installed. It turns out that Legacy reps wanted Lowes reps to believe we were the reason the carpet was not installed as scheduled. This was not ture at all. Not to mention I was called by someone at lowes a few days before to tell me a “stair Nose” was not ordered. Most professional flooring companies either know or anticipate what materials are needed to complete a job. Not these guys- simply clueless. The vinyl plank flooring was installed without a stair nose. The installers left behind a trip hazard for my small children and handicap mother. So the entire upper level of our home was off-limits until this job was completed. While the flooring is still as beautiful as it was when I saw it in the store, the application is horrific. When we walk across the floor there are areas that feel as if we are bouncing on a trampoline. We contacted Legacy Flooring 3 times before a supervisor came to our home to inspect the work. He agreed the flooring was not leveled but was within Normal limits. For who? We spent well over $10,000 with lowes to have a floor installed that is beyond unacceptable. We are unable to get anyone to assist us with a completing a proper complaint thoroughly investigated and resolved. Not to mention were were promised a rebate after the installation for 10% of what we purchased and never received it. We are prepared to go to the better business bureau and beyond if a reasonable solution is not achieved. We were misled on manly levels and the flooring installation is a trampoline of a nightmare, with no help in sight!. We spoke with our builders of the home and had a repuatable company come to inspect the work. We were informed that a self leveling material should have been offered prior to installation and allowed to set overnight to level out these areas. This was never even mentioned let alone offered as a solutio

I'm a small business owner. I shop in this location an average of 8 times a week. That being said, it really annoys me when management follows me around as if I'm a shoplifter. Earlier this week, after the guy sees I'm checking out with the cart full of materials, he comes to the cashier and harassed her. I understand shoplifting is a serious problem. So is stereotyping people!
