Overpriced for standard products. Works for people who like gimmicks and not value. Only ever go here if I have no other choice. Sushi is great though.

Hello. Happy day to you. 2023. I stopped by Harris Teeter Cloverdale NC. on my way to work. It was cold that morning. I try not to have a coat on or my mini backpack just to make Harris Teeter employees feel better. I know it's backwards.
It's one particular woman there that right off zoomed in on me. I've been going to that Harris Teeter before she started working there because I've never seen her there before. I'm use to them following me at times. A lot of stores I go in stare follow or work in ever area I'm in during my shopping visit. Harris Teeter-Not all the time do they follow me. NOT all the crew behavior is like, 2 in that morning crew went above and beyond the call of you're not welcomed here. I will call my #1 hater Elle and the manager who remained silent. I will call him Kevin. I stand out. I'm a morning person so I'm happy in the morning. I'm listening ? to music and I'm dancing. I have cases of water and seltzer water. Elle refuses to let me go through self checkout. 3rd time. I already know I can, and she said there isn't a wand because I asked why, and she flat out lied. She has a key barcode to ring up my water. I'm trying not to cause a problem.I'm trying not to be angry. I go with her while she leaves her area of self checkout because I was apparently incompetent to her. She rings up my stuff. I was $2 over the paper money I had. So I gave her a $100 bill. She gets the money marker. Mark it, of course it's real. She looks at the golden line. Smiles at me walks off. I raise my eyebrows. After a few minutes, I looked over to my right. She is standing there looking down at my $100 bill. She looks up at me in a matter of fact way. She walks off again. I frown. I turn my head back towards my phone. More minutes past. I felt movement behind me. With a customer at self checkout, Elle had Kevin holding my $100 towards the entrance doors where the sun was shining. IN FRONT OF ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I turned and asked, "Are you serious?" She flat out lied and said it's policy. I said absolutely not. I told them more. Never cursing, never screaming. I looked at the customer, and I realized I needed to get out of this store. She kept lying. Kevin, the manager, said nothing. I did take my money out of her hand with no contact with her. I only bought my items because I thought they would call the police and lie. I refused to let them keep that $100 bill. I hurt my neck. I left out because I was walking fast and had to come to a quick jerk because the doors opened ex extra slow. I just about hit the doors. I put the items in my car. Put up my cart. Sat in my car recorded a video and I was afraid to leave because I was afraid to leave because I thought they called the police. I called CUSTOMER service. I calmed down. Cold switched my voice. Customer service told me that once the bill was marked, the policy after the mark authenticated the bill. I get my change my items and be on my way. I was embarrassed. I told her thank you, and I cried. She confirmed the workers. She told me a DM wocall me. I waited 6 weeks, no call. I got in touch with a Harris Teeter on Facebook months later. They told me they would have the District Manager call as well. Nope. No one has called. I didn't go back into Harris Teeter on Cloverdale until two weeks ago. She came up to me again, telling me I couldn't use self checkout. I told her I could. I nicely reminded her who I was and what she did. All of a sudden, she had a barcode paper to ring up my cases of water. I have pictures and videos. A business doing this wouldn't even call me.
All the above isn't a good feeling. I was late for work. I didn't know if I should stay. Or if it was okay for me to leave. I'm in a store trying to make the workers in the store comfortable. To let them know I am not a threat. It doesn't matter. The first time, she stopped me at the door at a grocery store and asked if she could help me. Y

I use their pharmacy but their groceries are so much higher than Walmart. It may be more convenient and cheeper to just go to Walmart for both. For example Sheba cat food is 1.99 at HT and 1.18 at Walmart. And, their sale prices are like Walmart's regular price.

It's a clean grocery store with friendly employees. Their deli and seafood counters have a weird variety. Their organic section has grown and they gave local grown seasonal foods too.

Very friendly employees at this store! This Store is much well more managed than the one on Pine Ridge Plaza! Maybe the managers from this store ought to teach the ones on Reynolda now it’s done!
