If you are looking for a golf store where you can get helpful tips and friendly customer service, don’t come here. Staff were rude and judged me off my choices and clothing as I picked out a grip for my putter and a set of golf shoes. Will not be coming to this location again, I’d rather make the hour trip to the location in Charolette where I was helped and treated as an equal. Overall worst experience in a golf store I’ve ever had.

I had some extra time before an appointment and have been wanting to check out Golf Galaxy. Very disappointing! No greeting, no one asking if they could help me find anything. 2 people up front talking and a women back by the women’s department also pretending not to see me. If salespeople and managers only understood how offensive that is to a customer!! You might as well say, you don’t look like you belong here, so hurry up and leave. Regardless of whether I can spend hundreds or not…you should never judge a book by its cover. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and will not be back. Ty for listening and hopefully not making anyone else feel this way again. July 24th, 3024 @ 1:45pm

Fantastic service provided by Mike and his team at this location. I generally use the Greensboro location but have received nothing but the best service from everyone in this store. Had clubs lengthened and re-gripped, the staff asked questions to make sure my issues were resolved before spending additional money. They listened to my problems, weren’t trying to sell me products or services I didn’t need. Overall just a fantastic experience from everyone involved.

This location is subpar at best. We've been twice and had no luck finding what we needed either time. Staff is less than helpful. I've had much better experiences at greensboro location. How does a store that only sells golf stuff not have youth or lefthanded equipment?

Went for a driver fitting. Very dissatisfied. I’m a pretty consistent ball striker. I hit my driver center face was looking for a little extra distance with some of the new technology since my current driver is a ping G 20 and with age my swing speed has slowed. The fitters on staff ARE NOT PGA pros and unfortunately I got one that seemed fairy new. Basically these fitters read a computer screen and try some different shafts and club heads based on computer projected readings for ball spin, swing speed, smash etc. I’ve been fitted by a PGA pro on the range previously. On the range with a PGA pro is a much better experience because you actually see ball flight and true distance. Also, with the amount of different shafts, gram weights, and flex points golf Galaxy really did not offer many options To truly customize your driver. At the end of the fitting, there was no difference between my ping G 20 driver that came out in 2011 and any of the new driver heads and shafts they tried to fit. I would not recommend their services. I did not ask for my money back, but I feel I’m due a refund.

Walked in today to look and BUY a new QI10 driver. Will never buy anything from Winston Salem GG. Will continue my business at PGA superstore.

If you’re skeptical about lessons from the Winston-Salem location- let this be your deciding factor! Kent exponentially helped my swing and ball striking- in just 30 minutes!

It's a great place for avid golfers. Just spending a few minutes walking around and admiring the latest and greatest equipment is a treat.HOWEVER....I purchased several thousands of dollars worth of equipment a few months back (Callaway Apex irons, Ping 425 driver and 3 wood, new bag, shoes, etc.). The driver should have come equipped with a wrench to adjust the loft, but it didn't. I asked for one and was told it was missing. The salesman was wanting to sell me one for $12!!! It's not the cost of the wrench that bothered me; it was the fact that for as much as we spent, you would think one would be provided when one should have been provided with the driver for free anyway.I went to Home Depot and purchased one for half that amount.

You are better off going to a golf shop or taking a day trip to the pga superstore. Website had a promo for free regrip with purchase of 10 or more golfpride grip purchases and manager told me that it had expired a year ago even though it was still active on website. Moving location to thruway won’t fix this issue.

Was disappointing, don't sell golf clubs individually. Means you can't replace just 1 or 2 clubs. Also was difficult to get help.
