Usually this gamestop is great.I went in to do 2 preorders but the girl there was to busy on the phone or playing on her gameboy.People just don't have any customer service skills anymore.

Date of 6/24Store manager DJ and the trainee (didn't catch his name he was working so hard) did everything possible to ensure I had a fantastic experience at this GameStop location. I haven't been to a GameStop since I was younger, but customer service like this will surely make a return customer out of me and hopefully for many more. Thank you

gamestop by walmart in winston a girl named caitlin wouldn’t sell me headphones because i wouldn’t sign up for the pro awards thingy (it’s like $25 extra) cause her #s of sales was down and she need more people to sign up for it , it was around 2:30pm 11-12-23

Had to pick up my order from here, a young lady helped me she stated it was her first day alone there! She was extremely helpful very friendly her customer service skills are too tier she gave me a lot of tips for the game I was buying (she’s also a Pokémon fan) she even gave me tips for finding shiny Pokémon’s ! If I could tip her I would’ve! I hate that I didn’t get her name! I watched her help other customers she was definitely plus selling also ! Game stop you need more employees like her . Don’t know if they get commission on sales but I definitely will be back to find her and spend all my money here with her! I haven’t been this impressed by service in years and happy that I got my order to pick up instead of shipping it!

I don't think what people are saying about the warranties are true. I shop here all the time and they word it saying "with the protection for the games/accessories that total will be (insert total here)." They don't trick you into getting something you don't want. If you don't want the warranty just ask them to take it off. No harm no foul. All in all I love this place.

Be aware that staff charge for warranties on games without asking if you want it. Also does not inform customer about BOGO offerings.

Do not go here. Employee will charge you warranty without you knowing. Shady people here.

Amazing customer service by the associate Miguel(I hope I spelled his name right ?)! Not being from this state has thrown me off a lot with the time and we ended up staying an hour after close and not once did he get upset pressure us or treat us rudely. I am sure he was tired and wanted to go home but he still helped us with game questions. Even on stuff he didn't know he looked up. Such a great experience. And some really good deals too!

This review is for an associate named Mike. When I called to ask about the inventory and price of a controller, the conversation wasn’t welcoming. Coming from a store owner who also buys, sells, trades, and repairs devices, I would be very disappointed in one of my employees if they conducted the conversation the way you did. I will not go into detail, but teaching phone etiquette should be a requirement in businesses. When someone thanks you and says they appreciate it, you never follow that up by just hanging up the phone. Whatever you’re going through, even if you don’t like your job, I hope it gets better for you and don’t let your issues reflect on how you treat your customers.
