Good quality furniture and showroom designers were helpful, but much longer than estimated lead time (15 weeks vs 6 estimated) and price-gouging on the delivery charge ($300 for two stools).

I was looking forward to getting design assistance from Ethan Allen in replacing a rug in my living room. I brought along photos of my furniture and actual pillows from the couch, etc. We chose what looked to be a very promising rug. We were going by a small remnant, of course. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when the rug arrived and I knew immediately the color was all wrong. It was boring and washed out and did not go well with the couch, the major piece in the room. I called within 24 hours to let the designer know I was unhappy with the rug and asked if there was some recourse, like perhaps I could do an exchange. I was promised a call back and when it did not come by the next day, I called back. The bottom line was there was zero recourse. I have a house full of Ethan Allen furniture and have worked successfully with other designers before. This one was a huge and costly disappointment. UPDATE: Customer Service eventually offered me 40% off a new rug with the delivery fee waived. Unfortunately, I have no desire to do further business with this company.

I wanted to order a bar stool to match those that I purchased with my home and Jane Ronan (Winston Salem, NC store) was very kind and helpful. She helped me locate the original order (with permission) and ensured I was happy all the way through the delivery process. I would definitely reach out to her for future purchases of beautiful furniture and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented designer.

The selections were unique compared to other stores nearby. The quality and comfort were beyond amazing. No pressures at all but felt like we were speaking to our very best friend throughout the process. Given time to compare and select just the right materials. Furniture arrived six weeks earlier than expected during the busy holiday season. Would I return as a customer if in need of other items? You bet! Yes, it was a little on the high end of pricing but we were given a twenty percent discount on all. For the unique lines and quality offered compared to many others Ethan wins hands down on all counts! You will not be disappointed!

I love my new couch, but one of the arm covers and one of the pillows was defective. I contacted the store, which indicated they would fix both items. It has been 6 weeks and I have not heard from our salesperson. I had to reach out to them, and received a "not yet" response.I have not been happy with the store's customer service and, as much as I love my couch, the fact that they would let it leave the warehouse with a broken zipper on the pillow and an arm cover that's all catty wampus, doesnt's say very much for their quality.Edit.I received the two arm covers and pillow today. They look great, and I love my couch.

My wife and i have been gone through a number of mattresses and could never seem to find one that works for both of us. We were planning on buying one that adjusts to both of our liking and had given up on the idea that we could have a mattress that we both love. We contacted Megan Jones at Ethan Allen and she put us through a very simple sleep quiz asking questions about our sleep habits and body type. I was hesitant but it worked! The quiz recommended a specific design and firmness and it was more than accurate. We didn't even need an adjustment period. I've been waking up with lower back pain for years on expensive mattresses and now i wake up rested without pain. Megan was very professional to work with and made the experience simple. So thankful and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Megan was terrific to work with! It has been over a year that we have been living with her design and there is nothing I would change. She seamlessly worked our older furniture and new pieces together to make a comfortable home we are happy to show off. She even made great suggestions as to picture placement which had me stumped. Working with Megan and Ethan Allen was wonderful. Her suggestions and choices were spot on.

Great experience. Chairs arrived on schedule as promised, delivery crew was professional and friendly and demonstrated genuine interest in our satisfaction. We are enjoying them and will consider Ethan Allen for our next furniture purchase.

I would not even give Ethan Allen one star if it was possible. I received my leather sofa on June 3. It arrived with a 2 inch hole on the back panel. I spoke with customer service that day and requested a new replacement sofa. They declined my request and I was told by an Ethan Allen VP that they have the right to refuse replacement of a piece of furniture but would repair it. I had to send them a swatch of the leather on June 7 and have not received feedback as to when the "repair" will be done. I will not purchase anything from Ethan Allen in the future. I purchased a new sofa, which was not cheap, and will end up with a damaged/repaired sofa.

In this time of everything being delayed and taking extra patience, my experience was great! I was kept informed of progress and the delivery went smoothly. I am a long-time Ethan Allen customer and waiting for things that I know will be good quality was not a worry. The Winston Salem Ethan Allen is always fun to visit & I know my things will be beautiful. Thank you.
