First time dealing with Douglas and it was amazing! I was referred to them because the other guys couldn’t figure out the issue. They were able to diagnose and resolve the electrical issue quickly. Communication was wonderful, and the price was beyond fair. I would recommend them to anyone. Great local business that I will definitely return to.

I hit a deer and needed a new radiator. The next 2 days I needed a battery. The guys in the shop did an AMAZING job. They let me know ahead of time what it is that I needed. I understand the diagnostic fee. They have to actually see what it is that is the REAL problem. They made sure that I did NOT need anything else, they made me feel welcome and were straight to the point. If you want a group of HONEST and up front people. Go see them at Douglas Auto Care. They give you the TRUTH up front and will give you the information to make a educated decision. No sly stupid stuff. Just HONEST and upfront. I will continue my auto care with them. If you were smart. You would too. Be prepared to make an educated decision if something is wrong... They give YOU the option if you want them to do the work or not. They DO want you to be NCDOT safe and just because I don't like the cost of it... that is the joy of having a car... don't blame the mechanics if you only do what you have to … to get by. Be an adult and accept responsibilities people for your own wear and tear on a car. It costs to have a car.... PLAN ON IT. Nobody does work for free anymore...and those who do, will NOT be working on my car. Love the guys there. Trust in them.... they WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!

I came to Douglas out of this morning because my battery keep going dead and I kept having to jump it off so I guess down here the man said my battery's phone and I say no way I keep jumping it off and Mario he was very helpful he said maybe it's just a short so he tightened it up and I'm very grateful for Mario this morning and Douglas battery

Paid almost $300 to have a starter replaced. A year later I had the transmission replaced among other things.. I had told my mechanic that it had a starter installed about a year earlier at Douglas. He showed me the original Nissan starter that was still in the car from the factory. Douglas Battery charged me for something they never did.

Douglas did a fantastic job with my 85 Bronco. They went above and beyond to provide the best care for my vehicle. It’s hard to find folks that will pay special and particular attention to older vehicles, and these guys did it right. Attention to detail was top notch. Glen treated my vehicle just as if it was his own. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Trash service. Shop manager is extremely rude, it sucks that this place is the main electrical mechanic in the area cause I hope I never have to deal with them again.
