I just moved to this area and thought I'd try the closest Dollar General, only 2 miles away, but I will never return to this one again. The radio was so loud it was unreal. I even looked at the associate and made the comment, I didn't realize this was a club, or I would have gone somewhere else. All I got out of it was a smile, and then he resumed to dance as he rung the customers up. This was beyond ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. As I stated, I drove to the closest one, but I'll stick to the one on hwy 66 from now on. I will say this for them, they were extremely polite and courteous.

I mean, its Dollar General. In southside. Its pretty much what you'd expect. They do always have my Chester's Puffcorn in stock, so kudos for that.

Store is alway a mess. The Employees they have working there are ridiculous and lazy and rude they pretty much let thefts walk out the door. And they are more worried how you park outside the store then anything else. I stay close to this store and I will not be going back

Don’t waste your time or energy going in this store. This store is frequently dirty and low on stock. The employees lack customer service skills and are hard to locate when you need assistance or are trying to check out.

Why did this location ever open! It's always junky. Today the young lady clocked out and left the other guy in the back was told their was customers and yelled and told the guy ok just bring me my phone. I went and asked how long would the wait be he going ask me if I am okay. Like wth!with!! No i am not you have customers and you are locked up in back on your phone and he has the nerve to say I have no respect!
