IF I COULD RATE THIS DOLLAR GENERAL AT THIS LOCATION 0 STARS I WOULD! The Dollar General located at 3915 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 has an employee by the name of Brandi. Brandi was a terrible employee and cashier who is a racist. I felt extremely discriminated against and I will be contacting the manager at the location and corporate. I have never felt discriminated against at ANY dollar general
Before until now. How could Dollar General just hire anybody?

This store is the worst neighbor, using their back parking lot as a truck stop with engines running on and off all night right next to houses. They keep doing it no matter how many times the police get the trucks to move. It would be so easy for them to park on the front side of the building instead. Please don't support this store.

The new store manager, Jackie, is amazing! I'd sworn off this Dollar General from my places to shop. This location is now amazingly clean and well organized with a new staff who are polite and helpful... unlike the previous staff that were downright rude... no more unloaded pallets blocking the aisles. Shelves are well stocked and organized.. but most importantly to me; Jackie introduced herself to me today and assured me that major changes in staffing and organization would be held at the highest level. Thank you, Jackie...I will be a regular customer at this location!

I wish they didn't have any stars at all. they don't deserve any. I went to this store Sat around 2:30pm. I was buying McCafe Coffee 2 boxes with other items. They was ringing up full price. I told her they was on sale. She said I don't know how to change the price. She said they are not on sale. I went to the back to pull the tags off showing the price. She says it again I don't know how to change the price. If she don't know how to change a price then she should not be on a register. I have been calling them off and on since Sunday to try and speak with the manager to make him aware of this issue. The phone will just ring and ring. They will not pickup the phone. I told her to forget it then. I was going to be spending close to $50. I had to go to another store and they was out of stock on it. So I had to drive to the Reynolda Road location it came up correct when it was scanned. I was overcharged at this location. He rung up 11 packs of toliet paper and I only got 10. I asked him if it took the $5 off when you spend $25 and he said yes. Discovered it had not taken it off. I went back into the store. told him he rung up the incorrect amount of toliet paper and the $5 dollars was not taken off. Instead of doing it through the register he takes out his wallet and gives me $6 dollars cash. So I was still owed tax on that as well. Dollar General you need to get people to work for you that knows what they are doing. You need to close these 2 stores down because the staff you have has no clue what to do. I guess Dollar General will just hire anyone to work for them. Hire me to be the manager I will go in and clean house and get good staff.

This store desperately needs a manager. Shopping here feels like being in someone's basement. It even smells like a basement. There are piles of random product everywhere. Nothing is ever in stock. Floats full of product are blocking every aisle. The food is always expired, the employees are always on break, and as of last week, they only take cash payments.

Worst dollar general in Winston! The staff are so rude and unhelpful. I watched the employees verbally abuse multiple customers, including myself. For no reason! The woman who looked like a manager got angry at an old lady for not understanding her coupon and another guy for asking to use the bathroom. She was actually yelling at them. And it seems like they just do it for fun.

This store has made a huge improvement.actually can walk in the aisles..stuff is stocked.its open. The staff is friendly and working .this new management is so much better.

The store is currently under new management and they are actually getting the store together to where it looks like an actual mini supermarket again! So thankful that they've gotten new employees and management in!!!?

On multiple occasions this store just randomly decides to close during what would be their normal business hours. When I asked when they would reopen, the guy just shrugged. This is so bizarre and I don’t understand how this place has the rating it does based off how consistently god awful it has been.

I went there on 4-16-23 and was waiting in line to go to cashier cash I was using cash. Two people ahead of me. Guy was with cashier. Complete silence. Cashier says nothing to nobody. I get there and no words. She doesn't even tell me my total!!! I'm looking on screen for it. I finally see it. I give her my money and wait for change. She gives it back all slow with attitude like she upset with me. What I do?! I say have a good one. She say thanks all low voiced. Look Dollar General, I'm sorry y'all low staffed or people don't want to work but if they don't then find those they do cause those that are taking it out on customers and you're losing customers and business daily!!
