I went here to renew registration last year. I paid, changed my address in their system, got a new plate and tags, and was on my merry way. It was a pretty quick process.Now, I just realized that my tags are expired, but I never received a bill vis mail. I logged into my account and see that my address was never changed in the system nor was my new plate and registration entered. Now, instead of paying via mail or online I have to go back to this dreaded place and hope that they enter the correct information into the system. Unfortunately for people in our area there is no other option, which is a MAJOR bummer.

I had to go there on 1/4/2024, I had purchased a vehicle and needed to get a new plate. The woman that I was seen by was a washed out blond, white/ elderly/ and just as mean and rude as she could be! Motorists are trying to do the correct thing in paying property taxes, vehicle plates, titles, and I swear those folks act as though they are the FBI! Condescending and truly rude and hateful for no reason! It's as though they take pride in mistreating folks! They look like they need to retire, just that bitter worn down look! If you cannot maintain your professionalism, Retire!!!

I went into get a new tag last week. The older lady to the right was so rude!!!! Today I went back once again so very rude!!! I will find another DMV to go to if I have to drive a longer distance. I will be reaching out to someone about this. No reason for her to be acting the way she did.

Why don't you ever answer the phone? A phone call could fix my situation. Since you won't answer the phone I will have to pay for a taxi to bring me to your offices. A waste of time and money.

It is rather small for the volume of people that are in Winston-Salem but, they do their best with what they have to work with I've never had a bad experience here

I know the DMV isn’t know for being a place of happiness and kindness but this location takes it to a whole new level of horrible. Sasha was the rudest employee I have ever encountered. We tried to be as kind and friendly as possible dealing with our title change with her and even getting simple, straightforward questions answered was like pulling teeth with her. If you can spare the miles to visit a different DMV, I would at all costs. Or at least wait for a different person to assist you here.

There's something wrong with these people that they delight in giving people a hard time an charge every year for supposed insurance lapses when it's just renewal. They do it to everyone repeatedly and something has to be done to fix it, not blindly going on!

It's not enough customer service. Lines is discussingly long. There's small items at times we should not wait in line for, like returning license plates.

Ridiculous wait. Only two people working and line is almost 20 deep. NC should do better for its citizens when we are giving them money for this.

North Carolina is so money hungry it makes me sick! You should be ashamed of yourselves taking all this money from folks, meanwhile rent is through the roof. The lines are always crazy long cause y'all too cheap to have other 2 or 3 locations. From all the money you steal from people you'd think they could afford to open more branches. Wow, this society's so stupid ?
