We purchased a “smart home” with a system installed by Carolina Custom Sound. Not having any experience with such a system, we were initially concerned with being able to operate and maintain the equipment. Carolina Custom Home has been great to work with. They initially came and converted the system to us from the previous owners. We then bought a new TV from them which they installed. The TV we selected came to their facility damaged so they ordered a new one which crossed into a new model year. They honored the quoted price even though the new model was more expensive.We have had two issues, one with the sound system and one with the TV. In both cases we got a same day call when we contacted them and they were able to talk me through the fix over the phone. Once by Chris (the owner) and once by Milton (a senior technician). In both cases their instructions were very clear and understandable. Plus, they were very courteous and pleasant to work with.I very much recommend working with Carolina Custom Sound.

We have used Carolina Custom Sound many times! They have installed outdoor TVs, indoor TVs, surround sound, Sonos, etc. I cannot recommend them enough! Super great job every time we deal with them. Chris, the owner is amazing!

I just moved into a house a few weeks ago that Chris and Carolina Custom Sound had made into a smart home several years ago. The previous owner had left Chris’s phone number and I contacted him to see if he could help me get familiar with the system and make sure it was working properly. He responded very quickly and was extremely helpful. He was very kind with being flexible with his schedule and I know they are extremely busy. He actually came out to my house to make adjustments to the system. His knowledge, professionalism and honesty was extremely refreshing in this business world. I look forward todoing business with Carolina Custom Sound in the future when I need upgrades and assistance. I HIGHLY recommend Chris and his company.JO

Chris and his team were absolutely amazing. The work was for a new home and the build took FOREVER! Chris and team were so understanding and patient, but when it was time, they jumped right in. They installed an Amazing AV system for my ultimate mancave. Would recommend them to anyone looking for quality AV work from experts that know their trade.

These guys are amazing. Chris bends over backwards to understand your needs and exceed them. Milt and his partner did an amazing job re-installing my A/V system. We moved from FL to NC and they did an excellent / no nonsense / very professional reinstallation in the new house. Everything done to perfection, no delays, no excuses. Would HIGHLY recommend them. Our automation and home theater systems needed to be updated and a few programming items repaired. We also wanted to upgrade our Wi-Fi network. We contacted them. They set an appointment right away and arrived on time to look over our system. In no time they installed our new Wi-Fi network, reprogrammed some things, and explained how the system works. I’ve had experience with other home automation companies, and Carolina Custom Sound is the best! We’re very impressed.
