I wanted to see if this business was reputable, so I brought in a small amount of jewelery to sell as a test to see how honest they would be on the value of my jewelry. In short, I would not recommend doing business with a shop that cannot provide you with how they obtained the value for your gold or silver. I knew I would not be returning to conduct further business after receiving a ridiculous answer as to how they derived at the value of my gold and silver.

Been buying silver eagles and rounds from here for a few months now. Every time I go in I get treated with a friendly hello and a genuine smile.
I have never had a bad experience in this business. Shopping is enjoyable, with plenty of selections and you feel right at home.

Bought 5 coins thru ebay. Received 4. He said coin was lost. Really? A coin shop losing a coin. By the way the coin that was missing was the most valuable one. On top of this he was rude. Buyer beware.

I really enjoy trading with Carolina coin. They are much cheaper than anything you can order online. If you need to sell any coins or buying them this is the place to go.I have been doing business with Scott for years he's always reasonable with his prices, and always friendly with his customers. This is a great place to shop.

We stopped in with a fairly large collection of coins, jewelry, and collectibles. Friendly service and what we thought was a fair price. They referred us to our potential dealers for the items they had no interest in. Very positive experience.

I have visited C.C.T.C. On two different occasions over the past few weeks, and have nothing but positive things to say! The staff are very knowledgeable and no nonsense about the value of the coins I brought in. I have learned a lot about coin collecting, and have been pleasantly blessed with the extra money around the holiday season. I would recommend them to anyone looking to find out the value of your coin collection, and for a place to receive top dollar for your sales. Very Merry Christmas to you and yours!Ian S. Hargis

My wife and I visited this coin shop on 11/14/22. We came in and purchased some competitively priced silver rounds and some constitutional 90% Silver. We were charged $100 for 8 1964 Kennedy half dollars. We are fairly new to silver stacking and didn't realize at the time of purchase how much of a rip off that price was. We unfortunately trusted the store to offer a good price. It wasn't until I got home and researched the prices that I realized how much we were over charged. We paid $100 for an 8 count of circulated 1964 Kennedy half dollars. That's $4 face value and approx 2.85ozs of total silver. So after doing the math we were charged 59% over spot price of silver. Which was $22/oz that day. Upon my research, the industry standard for purchasing 90% silver for a FAIR price is 15-20% over spot. We were charged 25X the face value which equates to $35/oz for those half dollars. I admit, it was my own ignorance at the time that allowed this business to over charge that much. But it won't happen again. I'd like to give the young, tall gentlemen that sold us the coins the benefit of the doubt that he possible charged us that by mistake. However, that seems unlikely. This one moment of greed has ultimately cost this business hundreds, if not thousand of dollars in future revenue from us. Good job! The moral here? Just because a couple looks young, never assume they don't have money to spend. Based on our experience with this business they seem more interested in making a quick buck rather than developing lasting relationships with thier customers. Unfortunately, thier competitors nearby will be getting our business in the future.
