The tellers at this location are extremely rude and unprofessional. They act as if you are bothering them simply because you walk in the building. The manager has so many bad reviews on here I can’t simply understand why she still has a job. The only exception is the lady with short white hair, she has always been kind and professional. I am there multiple times a week bringing deposits and it has gotten to the point where none of my employees want to take deposits there. We are considering moving our business elsewhere . When will they realize they are losing business because of a few employees who are so miserable with their lives that they have to take it out on customers.

By far the worst experience I have had at a bank. Amanda was the most unprofessional person I have ever interacted with. I wasted half a day dealing with that woman. Loan department apparently takes lunch all day. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Please, do not come to this branch! Every time I come in here, the staff is condescending and unhelpful.My last interaction with Amanda was unfortunate because a corporate Bank Ozk phone rep directed me to the branch to provide some documentation. However, she, the branch rep, was short with me and contradicted the phone rep, incorrectly, as it turns out.Fortunately, I called the customer service number back and they instructed me to email the documentation to them instead.What a waste of time. Please try another branch or put your money elsewhere.

I was told I could not open a Savings account or purchase a CD because I had a fraud alert on my credit report. This alert has been on all three credit reporting agencies for the past 5 yrs. It is there to keep anyone from getting CREDIT in MY NAME without verifying the identity of the person applying for credit. I have taken out car loans and home loans while this alert ihas been on my credit reports and have NEVER been DENIED from opening savings accounts or obtaining CD's. I WAS NOT ASKING FOR MONEY, I WAS TRYING TO DEPOSIT MONEY.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same staff working here for years is very rude and wanting to do the bare minimum. The two ladies that work in the main area are never friendly and act as if whatever I need is an extreme inconvenience even though it is their job to be friendly and help with a smile on their face. Horrible customer service and it’s been the same 2 women for years. If I was their boss they would have been fired a long time ago. Clearly shows that this bank management is extremely unprofessional. A 1 star is too high of a rating. Bank oak is a fine bank but not the employees at this location.

They signed me up for the “wrong account” and I was told I’d have to come back to pay a monthly fee for another account. Just a really stupid and unnecessary experience. Why bother going here when there’s so many other banks that won’t get things wrong with a first time customer??? I closed my account and went to Bank of America. Way better app, services, and no mistakes were made.

I have opened an account with this Bank over five years ago. I opened the account at Mocksville branch and I loved that place. However, I no longer work in Mocksville and I use now the branch in Winston. The new manager is unfriendly and mean, never return calls but took calls when I was at her office and made me wait. The new manager gave me wrong informations.

Update: Never go there! My friend went to this location today and had to speak to the manager. She was the rudest and the meanest person. So incredibly unprofessional. If someone from the upper management reads this, please let her go. Maybe it will improve these poor reviews.I really needed to exchange money and they are the only bank nearby. They refused because I didn't have an account with them. Now I will definitely not get one. Too bad. Other banks were always willing to help.

Deposited a check, and received a call saying that my check was fraudulent! After reaching out to the issuer of the check, I was informed that the check was in fact, valid and in no way a scam or fraudulent. Called Bank OZK back and was told that the checks routing number and account numbers were falsified and not real. They told me I could come get the check and try to cash it or verify it at the issuing banks local branch.Long story short, the check issuing bank and a local bank have a similar name, and instead of doing their due diligence, they only tried to verify the check through the local branch of the same name. I had to basically come to this conclusion for them, and never received an apology for their lack of initiative and terrible customer service. If depositing a measly $1,000 check from out of state can cause this much confusion, I’m not sure I’m confident or comfortable doing any serious business with this branch or company in the future.

Truly a partner for small and medium sized local business, in a world that is a bit too automated to provide a genuine banking relationship. Bank OZK looks to support for the long term vs just a transaction.

My husband and I have had accounts with Bank of the Ozarks since 2013. When we opened our account we had a great experience. Over the last few years we started having more issues with them. So, here goes...
