Your customer service is extremely annoying! I got through after going through several number selections to a person with who I could barely understand. What country? Then when we finally communicated, I was trying to verify what I was to do and was cut off! When I called back, I was given a different set of directions and a different e-mail address to respond to! It took a third call-another trip through problem choices to finally get a foreign customer service agent to confirm the email address! Your customer service system is terrible! Get a local English speaking person to assist your customers!

Best advice I can give anyone is to avoid Amerigas at all cost. A couple of years ago they purchased my longtime local provider and I could not be more disappointed in the quality of their customer service since the takeover. Within a year they more than doubled the annual tank rental, and added an additional delivery charge to every order. You can no longer reach a local customer service representative even if you call the local number. All calls to Amerigas are answered by an offshore call center with representatives that barely speak english. In my experience it will take your at least 30-minutes to an hour to talk to a live person and at the end of the call you will likely not have accomplished anything. The worst part is that they NEVER deliver propane when promised. If you order a refill they give you a 5-day period for delivery…but they never meet that time frame. You should expect that you will get your tank refilled 3-4 weeks later than promised. Of course if you do call to let them know that you are about to run out of propane they will be happy to put you on the emergency fill list for an additional $200.00 surcharge.

I wanted to move my tank 6 feet. I called customer service and was unable to resolve the issue of moving the tank. I had to discontinue services with this company and will call a different propane company and they can put a tank where I want it

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. They randomly double the usage requirements, which caused me a huge tank rental fee. When I called to ask about a billing question, the person in India hung up on me. Not once, but twice. You can't speak to anyone at the local office, only in India. They use to be a great company, but the customer service is terrible now.

This place is pathetic! They care nothing about customer loyalty of over fifteen years. They charge you to rent your tank, paint your tank, repair your tank and you better make sure they stay up to date on their inspection. You will need to make numerous calls to get your point across.

One of the worst, brought a set of gas logs in January, the remote worked 4 weeks went out, was told today to get someone out to service log, they no longer do servicing and refused to repair logs or remote, they only delivery gas. What a joke just close this sorry as company period

I asked them to cancel my "auto delivery". They delivered it anyways and refused to refund. I canceled my service soon after. This isn't an honest company.

Absolutely the worst ever customer service. Can not resolve any issues with the foreign customer service. I can not even get through to them that I own my tank and have never ever paid rent. You can not even visit a local office. They have totally ruined my gas buying experience. I suspect they will totally be out of the propane business within the decade. Awful. Awful. Awful.

I have used this company since I bought my house 4 years ago without any problems. This year, when they switched over to an 800 number for customer service and took control away from the local offices, has been a nightmare. I have had to go almost a month without propane because apparently my original order got cancelled somehow, even though I never got any notification or refund. I ordered my propane in January, my tank ran out 2 weeks later. I called often and finally got them to come out in the middle of February. Then, when they did finally deliver the propane, they shorted me almost 30 gallons and I only have a $3 credit on my account. My pilot light was not lit and still has not been lit, so I have gas but still no heat. It's now the middle of March and I'm looking for a new provider. I'm over this company. I'm also over trying to contact customer service, because nothing gets accomplished and you have to wait forever to talk with someone.
