Sent a package Priority Mail on 12/13/23 to Waynesville, NC that was to arrive on 12/16/2023. Checked tracking today because the person didn't receive the package and the scan shows it in New York City. Let's face it, the Postal Service is no longer competent to handle packages. Amazon packages showed delivered to mailbox and the item wasn't delivered at all. I've had packages laying out by mailbox next to the highway. Shut them down completely and let a profitable commercial company take over. UPS and FEDEX are the only reliable deliverers of packages and priority mail. This is what you get when unions are controlling employees.

BS ass company. Marking ALL of my mail delivered for the past 3 mail days. When it actually comes I'll probably get half of it. My packages are PRIORITY so why is this even happening? Who can I complain to? Why is the post office doing nothing about this? All you have to do is look at the business on google and see they have terrible reviews. I'm so fucking angry right now. I pay close to 10 BUCKS FOR SPECIALTY SHIPPING AND I STILL DON'T GET MY SHIT ON TIME. FIRE YOUR PEOPLE, FIND NEW PEOPLE WHO GIVE A SH*T ABOUT THEIR JOB.

I just movies to Elizabeth City from Chesapeake. I would get Amazon packages nearly every day at my VA address. Since moving to Elizabeth City, I have to go to the Ehringhaus location to pick up my packages as " mailbox is full". My mailbox is not full, and clearly the postman is not capable of bringing the package to the porch. To make matters worse, the male representative at the Ehringhaus location is always annoyed and always rude when I do go to retrieve the package.

This post office consistently marks packages as delivered that they do not actually deliver. For a long time, they would mark the packages as delivered at your porch/door and then actually deliver them 1-2 business days later. Recently, I have had packages marked delivered that are never delivered at all. I opened tickets in USPS's system and they closed them with no response. I am waiting on a response from the post master general. If it is an Amazon package, Amazon is pretty easy to work with about getting it corrected. But when it's from other companies they will not do anything because it's marked as delivered. I am have a video doorbell and can confirm that no mail carrier delivered anything to my porch. Very frustrating that they can lose, misdeliver, or steal your packages and never have to respond to you and you have no recourse and just lose money.

This has to be the filthiest public building I've ever been in; it's an embarrassment to Elizabeth City. The outside is molded, nasty windows, trash and litter thrown on the ground and sidewalk and is in dire need of painting. The inside is literally a joke! One of the clerks has her area cluttered with stuffed animals, toys, tacky collections very unfitting for a Federal building, paid for by taxpayers! How they find people's mail is a mystery...although lost mail seems to be the norm! One of the clerks, a Jamaican man, is the rudest and most foul-mouthed employees I've ever dealt with! And I think he may be the supervisor!! These problems existed before Covid, and has only gotten worse. Too bad for the citizens of Pasquotank County.

Joseph Seymour is probably one of the very few friendly and super helpful US Postman at this location! He is a treasure to this place.

Worst post office I've ever been to. I normally don't write reviews but this establishment has horrible management. Fully support the post office too but this location is an exception. Every time we've been there is a bad experience. Extremely rude employees. Highly recommend going literally anywhere else to send a package in Elizabeth City.

I thought they had fixed the blatantly lazy drivers at this location after my last complaint but clearly not. They have now refused to deliver packages on 3 separate occasions to us simply because they don't fit in our drivers Buick with other mail. The boxes have all been reasonably sized. They declined another deliver on Friday for us which we called & filled a complaint. They apologized & said it would be delivered, its yet to show up & now just a few days later they deny ANOTHER package because they refuse to send someone who isn't too lazy to get out of their vehicle. The package is less than 5lbs. I'm stuck on quarantine due to COVID19 symptoms & had ordered basic groceries & necessities. Now I have no way of getting them because I can't go to the post office like they're demanding. You want to be trusted handling election ballots yet you can't even deliver an Amazon package. Total waste of tax payer money. The drivers & leadership at this office all need assessed & replaced with people who can actually do their job without being lazy.

Always convenient. Friendly employees are always very helpful. It's what I call "small town service". Unlike the post office in nearby downtown Hertford. I avoid that place, due to the rudeness and profane language which flows freely there. I live closer to Winfall Post Office anyway, And it's the best ever. Always a pleasant experience!

Had a package that was supposed to have been delivered one day, but apparently it did not get put on the truck. I called the number on the note left in the mail box and the automated system was no help and could not recognize my delivery. I called the 1800 number from the USPS site and was told the wait was over an hour and I could request a call back, so I did. I called the Elizabeth City local post office and was helped immediately. The lady I spoke to was friendly. She could not locate my package while I was on the phone so she asked if she could do research and call me back. She did just that. She called within the hour to let me know that it was found and would be delivered today. She offered for me to pick it up or be delivered. She was friendly and helpful. And BTW the 1800 number never called me back. Luckily the local office was helpful.

This is a business, a law firm to be exact. Our mail delivery is extremely erratic. We routinely receive mail after 5 pm and there have been days, more than a few, when we have absolutely no mail delivery. We never have the same carrier for a whole week. When complaining to the postmaster, you would get more customer service and professionalism from a wall. His response and interest in resolving your issues are laughable. We had packages scheduled for delivery yesterday, they never came and this morning I get a notice that they attempted delivery at 6:31 pm. That wasn't very helpful since our office closes at 5:00 pm. Now attempting to schedule redelivery and the automated system is useless. This, ladies and gentleman, is why email, UPS and FedEx are going to make the post office go away.

Checked the status of an order from Amazon and the portion that was shipped via USPS Had the following note. Your action required From USPS at Sunday, January 7: Carrier is unable to gain access to front door to deliver the package. Please contact the carrier to resolve. I know we had a good snow storm a few days before but I was home all day Sunday and there was not an attempted delivery, no note, nothing. The mail came and went Monday without a package being delivered, must of got lost somewhere along the way. Can't wait for Tuesday I know the highlight of my day will be standing in line at the post office trying to find my package. The other part of the order was delivered on Monday by a under appreciated gentlemen driving a brown truck and more deliveries to make. Go UPS! I wish Amazon would drop the post office altogether there service is on par with what you would find in a third world nation. Sorry for the rant, I'm just blowing off steam.
