We stopped in here at the end of our day in Wilson. So glad we did. This is a grand old home and the whole first floor is filled with so many beautiful things...some are truly antiques, some are more recent, but all are in great condition and displayed so nicely. There were many things both of us wanted to buy! Very reasonable prices for lovely things... The owner is very knowledgeable about her merchandise and is so helpful. We enjoyed looking around and will be sure to visit we we return to the sweet town of Wilson.

Beautiful old house with actual wood burning fireplace going really cheered me up! Very friendly sweet coon dog greets you at the door (Mr. Wilson). Owner very friendly. Nice assortment of reasonably priced items in good condition. Unfortunately we were flying home and didn't have room for anything, but I did see several things I would have liked.

Five Star: Parks Place is my favorite go to place to just walk around and look even if I don’t buy anything (which rarely happens). I don’t get by there as often as I would like, but when I do it’s so hard to leave. Gaynell has so many beautiful and interesting things here and such a variety of things. It is almost magical when I walk in and start to explore each room. Thank you Gaynell for all the hard work you put into having everything placed in it’s perfect spot. You have that special touch for design. If there is anyone that has never visited this magical treasure trove on Park Ave, you should really stop in and browse around. I can assure that you will love the experience.

Exquisitely filled + decorated with marvelous furniture, rugs, chandeliers, ect,ect. Of course, it varies as items bought are replaced with additional new ones.

Thanks to Gaynelle and Park Place the majestic 1905 RG Briggs House [where Great Grandaddy Briggs raised up his adopted children (the Roberts clan) and his own daughter Nannie Briggs AND her two daughters (my mother Kathryn and her sister Mena)] lives !

Consignment store in scenic Victorian house. Great selection of unusual treasures reasonably priced. Helpful staff, and love the dog who greets visitors enthusiastically at the door with a wagging tail.

Always fascinating to shop the selection of treasures in the beautiful old house. Love the friendly greeter (the dog Wilson) who meets you at the door and walks you in. Nicely laid out, well priced, and great atmosphere. Great place to shop for something unusual or special.
