My husband's toyota is 15 years old with 200,000+ miles, so we opted to stick with Toyota again since it's done so well holding on for us.
We told the salesman exactly what we were looking for, a Corolla Cross or a Rav 4, preferably new, and that we weren't looking to buy today. Instead of being honest with us, and saying outright that he had no inventory to show us. He proceeded to waste our time showing off a some pre-owned, 4 year old, premium XLE thing with 50,000 miles on it that was out of our budget and cost way more than the msrp of the two kinds we were there for.
He showed off the upgraded "weather mats" in the trunk as if it was a feature of the car worth buying.
It had to have been a bet. The salesmen had to have a bet going of who can sell this thing first to a pair of suckers. I cant think of another reason to show off that car, which the salesman push REALLY hard on us, as if it was the only car on the lot available for sale.
Eventually we were told that there were "new corolla crosses arriving in an hour". What? It seemed like a last ditch effort. Why didn't you lead with that? We said outright we weren't planning to buy today, just looking at a couple models in person. And if it was new inventory arriving surely they weren't going to be showroom ready as soon as they arrive? Surely there's a check in process. It was a very out of place statement.
None of the cars has price information on them which felt very scummy. We might buy another toyota but it won't be from Hubert

I arrived to pick up my vehicle and my advisor was gone for the day. The advisor that checked me out asked if I had been told about the extra 3% I would be charged if paying with a credit card due to "their new system". I stated I had not been told. Another advisor then stated they could not override the 3% so it didn't seem to mater whether I knew beforehand or not.
I didn't have enough in checking to cover the cost so I had to transfer money to cover it and luckily the transfer took immediate affect.
It's no wonder folks can't make ends meet because we all get "fee'ed" to death.
My wife and I both have Toyotas and have never incurred a credit card fee on previous visits to this dealer. Hmmm, seems like it's time to take my business elsewhere. The sad thing is no one will even care because loosing my business won't affect their bottom dollar anyways.

Typical scamming dealership! It was a two day process. That part wasn't their fault. I was scammed by another dealership to come to Wilson. So I decided to search the area for another vehicle. I definitely should have read the reviews before I went. The first day. We got there late. So we couldn't finalize the deal. Not to mention we were having to drive two hours to get there. On the first day I mentioned the center console and the awful touch up job on the tailgate to Tasia bartley. She said she would call her people to take care of it. Knowing that the deal would go through before the issue could be addressed. Still hasn't been. After giving them several thousands of dollars and hours of driving. The deal was finalized. Not to mention the time out of work. Two weeks into purchasing the vehicle headlights went out. Luckily I don't drive too much at night. I just go to work and go home. I simply asked if they could provide the lights and I would install them myself. I was ignored by Alton and tasia ended calling me. Just to set up a service appointment. Which was yesterday. The service guy Phil said it would be 250 dollars. I declined. Because I came there under the premise that would be taken care of under the dealership and that's more time out of work. Plus the driving. Also the finance guy was highly aggressive. Not sure what his name was. But he was a heavy set black guy with braids in his hair. Luckily I'm hearing impaired so he got away with that one. So when I was there yesterday for the headlights. I seen Alton. While I was waiting. I waved to him and he didn't want to acknowledge my existence. After taking my money. I guess he knew he was screwing me over again. If you don't have a choice and have to go to this dealership. See Kevin li. From what I read in the reviews. He's the guy to see. Kevin li if I'm not mistaken.

THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON ME, THEY WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU IF YOU QUESTION THEIR LIES AND DECEITFUL PRACTICES!!!
Got an offer from TrueCar to sell my car to this dealer for $25k. Before going I called the dealer to double check that the offer was good and that they wouldn’t pull the carpet from under me as I will be driving more than an hour from Raleigh to get there along with my wife and kids in another car. Person on the phone assured me that wouldn’t happen. When we got there the sales guy does a quick appraisal and comes back and says we’ll give you $22k. I was furious as any one would be after being lied to like that. Then they called the cops on me for raising my voice at them. After cops came they kept trying to convince them that I was being threatening but the cops saw through that nonsense. The cops were actually pretty cool and was curious about the new electric car my wife was driving (Hyundai Ioniq 6) as it caught their attention unlike the garbage that was on the Toyota lot.
Anyways moral of this story is don’t trust this dealership with a 10 foot pole. If you’re an immigrant or African American I wouldn’t step foot on this property as they are so quick to call the police on you and eager to see you end up like George Floyd. One thing is certain, you have lost the Indian community. This incident is being posted to our internal Indian community board. Shout out to the officer that responded to the call, ya’ll were so cool!
Sadly after reading many of the negative comments it seems my experience did not happen in a vacuum and there are others with exactly the same experience when it comes to the TruCar offer and the actual offer made by this dealer
The opinions expressed in this review are solely mine and are based on my experience at this business.

We had such a great experience trading in our vehicle at Hubert Vester Honda with Kevin Li. The service was quick and efficient. He was very informative about the vehicle we were buying and about the whole process. Highly recommend going to Hubert vester and working with Kevin Li for your next vehicle purchase.

Lied about “car damage”, gave a trade in 4k less than anyone else was offering. Always recommend getting three quotes especially if you go here. Furthermore, salesman did not quote me on the car I was looking for and kept pushing a more expensive vehicle.
